I would like to hear people's pros and cons lists about paying your taxes with Bitcoin, now that several US states are accepting BTC to pay their tax liability.

I guess it is better to pay tax than to be banned. Though tax is another payment we would pay aside from transaction fees, but it is used to develop our nations. So for me it is not bad to pay taxes as long as you would earn more than you pay.

Paying taxes with bitcoin is a great way to apply, so we do not have to bother to bring flat money to pay taxes, hopefully in my country also apply tax payments with bitcoin.

Paying taxes with bitcoin is O.K this would bring more usage of Bitcoin. The more the popularity the higher the prices would be. Popularity could result in higher demand the would bring high prices.  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I think this is a good news and a way to make bitcoin become legal and be accepted in every countries in the world, hence we know that bitcoin has been pressured by government law and if bitcoin being used as another payment for tax i think its a great idea, not to mention every bitcoin miner might be charged with income tax too. But i think this is what we need right now to get approval for bitcoin transaction  Grin Grin

but what if this is just a ploy to get all cryptocurrency users information added to government watch lists? to me it seems counterproductive to bitcoins original white paper
