I am new to the Mining Community. Tring to do research before jumping into the fun...
I am posting in this forum because of a suggestion in another similar post to post here.

So, this is a basic question. It may be a stupid one, but one that I really didn't see any answer to...

What is the real viability difference in mining rates between -

1x -  6 GPU Rig
vs
2x - 3 GPU Rig
vs
3x - 2 GPU Rig
vs
6x - 1 GPU Rig

All using same hardware

I ask this question, as there are some vendors that are making some serious gaming rigs with decent warranties, that are very close to making 6x -1 near the same cost as 1x - 6 with a much better warranty protection...

Its just purchase efficiency. A 6x GPU rig will only require a single CPU, MOBO, HDD, RAM vs. the others will require more of these.

1x 6GPU rig will mine at the same rate as 6x 1GPU rig (ignoring the boost from having 6 CPUs mining cryptonight).

I don't know what you are seeing, but building a 6x GPU rig will be cheaper than building 6x 1GPU rigs.

Max Efficiency for me is building 8x GPU rigs, in terms of cost/hashrate.

Awesomeness!!! That was exactly the kind of answer I was looking for.

I kinda figured that was the case, but wanted to confirm.
