i noticed that its getting easier and easier for scammers to push their product by deleting posts with sensitive information. i suggest to take this power away from scammers. (also https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3241214.msg33880217#msg33880217)

i suggest to take this power away from scammers.
Although this is what we all hope for, it isn't going to happen (unfortunately):

19. Possible (or real) scams and Trust ratings are not moderated (to prevent moderation abuse).

Having said that, this is the latest change that was implemented (in order to reduce the possibility of being scammed [there's other reasons as well]):

The selfMod bit will now be permanently cleared when a non-mod moves a topic into a section which doesn't allow selfMod.

thats sad. it could really mitigate some damage while market is still getting into shape
