Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Can someone do a review of these two exchanges?

And: XJO is on Nova, which is slowly getting up to speed under its new management.

And: XJO is being used in Venezuela

Anyone having issues to deposit joulecoins on Cryptopia? It seems like they are in another blockchain. Cryptopia blockchain is ahead but that blockchain is not the same we can find here:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xjo/

It seems like they are using another version of the coin maybe?

from coininfo on cryptopia they are using an old wallet version (0.9.2.5).

the possible chainsplit occured 2 weeks ago.

I've sent them a supportticket, but currently no further actions have been done.
so if you are missing your coins, open a ticket too

I will do that too. But in the  meantime I will use the older version of the wallet and sync the blockchain with their nodes, I should recover my coins that way too.

XJO is being used in Venezuela?!?!

Yes, spazzdla.

We are not publicising the project yet (although the members of our alliance are following it). But we've had 'Vz Guy' running a wallet for several weeks -- the tx comments make an excellent communication channel (certainly if combined with PGP on Kleopatra). Today I have news of second and third wallets set up.

You are entitled to ask about our 'Verification' -- is this guy pulling our leg??

The focus is on simultaneously teaching Vz Guy to trade, and in using XJO as a 'training-coin' in Venezuela. We have a kitty of funds for the project, and are trying to get merchants to accept XJO as payment.

The blockchain seems to be picking up nicely and seems to be heading back on track.

It is however a portion of users still using the 0.9.X.X version of Joulecoin with out-of-sync blockchain data.
But I guess it is mainly servers, which will update in time.
