With all due respect to NEO, I don't think it has a chance of surpassing BTC in 2019. By 2021 it is, in case of positive results has a chance to get closer to Ethereum, but bitcoin will not.

NEO is a smart contract platform which derives it's value from dapps built on top of it as well as being part of a regulated "smart-economy" ecosystem. Even if it surpasses Bitcoin in Market Cap it is still a completely different use case. In my opinion it has no chance to overtake Bitcoin as a better "Digital Gold".

This idea is not enought to prove that NEO can beat bitcoin in that year thats why I dont agree with this scenario even Neo have a great community and increase a huge percentage last year it cannot surpass bitcoin and before it will became the no. One cryptocurrency they need also to beat ethereum the second top altcoin.

No one in the right mind would predict that bitcoin can be surpassed by neo specially in just 1-2 years. Everyone knows that neo is a great coin and it has a lot of room to grow price wise and project wise but beating bitcoin is quite ambitious. They need to take one step at a time. Once they beaten ethereum then we could reopen the discussion but as of now i do not see this happening.
