Since my last thread went a little off topic from my original intentions I've locked it and opened this one (the topic is slightly different also).

My post count here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile
Is much different than my post count here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=543626;sa=showPosts;start=3480

A user stated on the other thread that theymos was doing some recounting. This is just a note the recounting went slightly ary.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

If your post count is off from what you think it is, and this will negatively affect you due to participation in a signature campaign, I would advise you to ask your signature campaign manager to review your post history from when you enrolled (or last renewed) to present.

If he is not already doing this, then it is incompetent (he should be reviewing your posts anyway), and if he is refusing to do this, he is a scammer.

Wow Quick such a quick answer. Roll Eyes

But I reckon to review the post count it would be a good idea to start from the last week payments of their (signature campaign) not from the time he was enrolled in the said campaign it would be inconvenient.

You just don't want to believe that your posts were deleted. I had 10 of my posts inaccurately counting. I don't want to believe they have trashed 10 posts of a reputable merit source. also I would like to know if only mods have access to modlogs or everybody could see all the deleted, nuked, removed reply and topic? I only signed up for a merit source, not for moderation privileges.

Yes, the campaign manager could start at when you last renewed (as of the last post of which you were last paid for).

He lost 2 posts compared from 3/10/2018 with 3/3/2018 from my records.

You have 3497 posts. 3 of them are in the serious discussion sections, which don't count. 6 of them are redirection topics, which don't count. So your post count should be 3488, which is what it is.

Other things you should reconsider are :
1. Some of your posts got deleted.
2. Thread where you post are deleted.
But i dont know if this is the case because the numbers are too far off. You should try to check it, maybe there are many of your posts got deleted.

I too have noticed my post count has randomly dropped a few times over the past week. A bit strange, but I assume it has just been from threads that have been deleted. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I too have faced this issue and lost nearly 60 posts. I have contacted the bounty manager apprising him/her of the situation and Hope it will be resolved. I've listed down all the details and possible explanations too. Smiley

Thanks theymos. I forgot about serious discussion ones.

Its not based on a Sig campaign, just was wondering why my post count was slightly out as I considered yesterday that I was hacked so just wanted to rule that out. But thanks QS for the reply.

Erm no. If a post was deleted it wouldn't be on my history.

It wasn't for any loss in payments and it's pointless chasing change. It's a great campaign and a great company, if I'm two out that's my donation to chipmixer.

Can we get self moderated topics in meta so I can refine my thread somewhat of people still going on about deleted posts?

No, you were paid properly, I'm just pointing out that your posts were off by 2 when I did post counting.

The hell is this I'm also losing post count and of course I've deducted what thermos said.

Is there any thread resolve this issue? or this is some sort of glitch to surprise us for a new forum.
