Let's revive this for a bit  I just made ~10x with XIO, and was wondering what other hidden gems there are, preferably undervalued coins that are not yet listed on coinmarketcap or serious exchanges.

   I don't know how can you put 2017 and 2018 in the same context!? 2017 was bullish year, 2018 bearish, difference
in these two years is big!
   One of the coins that went up for more than x10 was Binance coin! I got into a bit late, but I bought in good moment.
Now the price is stable, but I am in profit, and I believe it will rise more in the future. I don't sell, I just accumulate, and
I wonder is it a bottom for BNB now, to buy more!

Wrx is good project. Solid project centered on adoption. The fact that is a center of focus in india (a country of over 1b people) makes its a sure x10. Also Klaytn, this is a must match. Often neglected but the partners in its blockchain council are heavyweights and thus makes sailent why Klaytn should be considered

Klaytn used to be a coin that helped me earn a lot of money in the past, and really this is a very good choice for investors in this difficult time.

Of course, you need to have a specific plan before deciding because these coins are very volatile when there is news and often follow Bitcoin. Besides, another option is IPX is also very good because this coin is being talked about a lot by the international community in recent months.

It's not a shitcoin tho, I'm into the project since the BOMB token airdrop and I kept buying at low prices cuz I knew it has potential Anyway, I sold a lot on the pump and for the past days I rebought at a lower price. Now I'm waiting for the dapp launch to stake some of it and to sell when it pumps again

You are definitely right about that, maybe between 2017-2018 it could be effective to make to follow this method for making 100x from investment. But as you mentioned it is just hard to make that cause of current problems. Maybe we will see in the near future to rise up altcoins, anyway investing in top altcoins is always profitable. Make the best profit with top altcoins.

Investing in top altcoins will often depend a lot on the price of Bitcoin because this is the decisive coin for the entire market. I think the next x10 coin will usually appear at some shitcoin and no one knows because these are usually very easy to pump and can be listed at major exchanges when there is good news. However, shitcoin investment is often risky, and you can lose money very quickly if not careful.

I recommend investing in altcoin, don't just hold two, let alone $ 4000 is a big enough money in my opinion choose 3-4 coins in the top 20 with the altcoin spec you want, if I have $ 4000 I will look for some coins to buy like BTC, Eth, EOS and NEO but maybe you will definitely be different.

Nowadays it is hard to spot a good altcoin that can increase x10. well we better should research a good project that can survive for long term so that the coin will increase slowly up to x10.
