Hello
I am living in Denmark and I want to get verified on Bitstamp, but it seems that none of my scanned documents are good enough.

(1) Uploaded scanned copy 400 DPI color of my passport gets rejected as not sufficient high quality.

(2) Copy of my monthly account statement from Eboks (Danish governmental mail system) or utility bill get rejected on the ground that (1) It's not from a paper source; and (2) the document does not meet Bitstamp's requirements.

I have used the exact same document for verification at Bips.me without problem, so I wonder what's up with Bitstamp.

Which requirements are sufficient for verifying on Bitstamp?

I have no paper source of my monthly account statement or utility bill because I get almost everything electronically through Eboks, but Bitstamp support doesn't seem to care.

I would therefore appreciate any help.

I agree, proving your address with a letter is becoming increasingly difficult as everything goes online. Will your bank supply a printed statement (usually for a charge though)?

Bitstamp adheres to the UK AML regulations(https://www.bitstamp.net/aml-policy/). It's within the scope of these regulations that certain rules exists for what can meet required standards for verification allowing Bitstamp to verify a customer's account.

To get verified we kindly as Bitstamp's customers to provide proofs of their residency which must be utility bills(bank/credit card statements, electrics bills, water bills, rent contracts/receipts, tax returns, council tax, etc..), no older than 3 months, sent to their names and addresses.

We must receive a scanned image of a paper document to meet the required standards.

My personality type: INTJ - please forgive my weaknesses (Not naturally in tune with others feelings; may be insensitive at times, tend to respond to conflict with logic and reason, tend to believe I'm always right)
