Not really because i believe that bitcoin is still he undisputed number one cryptocurrency out there. Maybe we have our own different opinion but i believe that bitcoin will make a comeback while other coins that are growing too fast will inflate like a bubble and boom. Gone like the wind and those pitiful investors didn't even realize the risk of a high increase. Well no one can really predict the future so we cannot say who is right and who is wrong.

No bro. Never. Bitcoin and other altcoons are rising and falling pretty much at the same time. As an experienced and highly reputed trader   , I noticed such a trend ages ago. Just look at the cryptocurrency charts. You will immediately recognise that most altcoons have the same trend as Bitcoin.

It's really relying with investors way, those coins that we noticed which moving greatly are those who have small market cap but eventually after that rise it will also fall after, bitcoin already have a lots of supports and already gain enough attraction to invite more investors to join the ride, while we are experiencing so much fluctuations from time to time we still in the process of progressing, in due time when people realize how good bitcoin was and how
they can rely their business, surely we will see more rise, and movements will be much quicker.

bitcoin lets good quality stuff and altcoin equal to low quality goods. so it is a natural thing if altcoin wants to continue to grow like bitcoin. what altcoin takes is the consumer, as with many altcoin consumers will progress. therefore altcoin has a low price, but many people are able to buy and trade it.

some altcoins are doing greatly well in the system but don't think it has much advantage over bitcoins. Bitcoin is tried and tested; the first cryptocurrencies that have made many people rich. Those altcoins would also experience falls in no time which may not even rise as we can have assurance of BTC rise

you can't say bitcoin is competing with altcoins the right to say is altcoins competing with bitcoin. without bitcoin altcoin won't be here or years later before they will be invented. altcoins only emerge after the success of bitcoin and what they do now is catch up with bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not slow it has a higher value so the other coins will move faster than it because it has a low value or a smaller market value cap and other people would invest to it because it has a possibility that the price of the other coins would go higher in the market just like bitcoin and because it is too expensive in investing in bitcoin so they would go in other coins.

Bitcoin might be slower than some 100x coins, but BTC price is much steady than the other coins. Coins that goes 100x can end up dumping fast.

On the question of the title of the post, my answer is definitely yes. BTC slowly begins to lag its development, against several of the altcoins such as Ethereum and Ripple and perhaps Litecoin. This is my view about the things.

Bitcoin has not become too slow and is not competing with any altcoin. Without Bitcoin, other altcoins are at risk. Let any altcoin handle half of the load Bitcoin is handling and see what will happen to them

Bitcoin has slowed right down and other coins and tokes have followed. When the crypto world becomes more confident in crypto currency, then the others will follow and we shall all embrace tie rise

Of course, bitcoin because of its shortcomings has become very slow. He could no longer compete with young promising coins having better functional qualities. Recently it was obvious. However, after the new version of bitcoin was released on February 26, 0.16.0 with full SegWit support, the situation should radically change. If you are always looking at the bitcoin fees, (not whine here on forum) bitcoin fees are now a lot lower than last year's fees (i don't know the reason of mempool clearing maybe spam attack is over?) for now the Priority fee now is 30 satoshi per byte that is very cheap for a priority fee compared to the transaction fees reaching up 20 usd due mempool bloating last year but now you can pay 0.5 usd im fees and you transaction will be confirmed within minutes if you didn't believe me here is the link: bitcoinfees.earn.com

In terms of what? Technology wise? Yes, i will have to agree with you that its really slow as we don't see any movement in bitcoin technology. There's too much bickering amount the core devs that really hamper what could have been a lot of improvement in the system. There are a lot of altcoins in which dev can make decisions decisively in terms of issues or problem that needs to be resolved ASAP.

However, there are still a lot of bitcoin enthusiast because it really bring a lot of money for us, admit it or not. That's why it still enjoy the support of the community and wider audience around the world.

Definitely. Coins that move up quickly generally have a smaller market cap and also tries to solve real world problems, and try to form a real world solution instead of being a digitised currency. Coins that solve these sort of problems gain interest from people very quickly, and when there is more supply, coin prices tend to rise very quickly. Another variable that can make coins move faster than Bitcoin is their market cap. Take for example a coin sitting a rank 300 compared to Bitcoin at no1. Bitcoin is already peaked, as in there is not much room for Bitcoin's price to grow as it is already so high. On the other hand, the lower ranked coin can have room to grow and might also be called "undervalued" due to it's low market cap. A lower market cap with public interest will likely move much faster than Bitcoin

That is exactly what I mean, they move very fast in terms of value because bitcoin is just not addressing any other problem that mere value transfer. If bitcoin were strong in development it would not be ever challenged.

For sure, I understand that bitcoin has brought plenty of wealth in the past and that has been great for other coins too, but it is now a at risk because other coins have a great development and are quicker when it comes to decisions.
