Hi! I've read about 7970 thread a lot and this is one guide that I've followed : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.msg1635964#msg1635964

My hardware spec : 3x sapphire HD7970 vapor-x

But still, my max hash speed is 512-515. (mining litecoin)

Lot of you manage to hit 650-7xx speed? how to do that?

my config :

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://[link] -u [username] -p [password] -w 256 -g 2 -I 13 --failover-only --auto-fan --shaders 2048 --gpu-engine 1150,1150,1150 --gpu-memclock 1600,1600,1600

It will crash if I enter memory clock above 1600 (weird? I've read some can use 1880).

All help is appreciated!  Wink Smiley

Well i have my card undervolted, but i use the following settings :

--scrypt --gpu-engine 910 --gpu-memclock 1095 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --no-submit-stale --auto-fan

this gets me 630 khash undervolted

if i want to run the card at full speed & power, i use this to get to 730 khash :

--scrypt --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-memclock 1500 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --no-submit-stale --auto-fan

try those, and let me know what result it gives you (you can PM me if you want)

This is mine with your 730Kh/s setting  (only get to 520kh/s)
I'm using cgminer 3.1.0, ccc 12.8

i use Sapphire 7970 OC and with that setup
Code:
--shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --auto-fan --gpu-engine 1030 --gpu-memclock 1500
on DFI mobo get 710kh
on MSI mobo get 690kh

I use asrock 970 extreme 4. Is that considered crappy mobo? lol

Are you sure about the driver? Most of the guides and posts always reccomend ccc 12.8 (I just want some confirmations)

with 13.4 I get 350kh/s (is it the same with 3.1 technically?)

damn, I'm so so so curious with my setting lol
