Bitcoin is now online for about nine years, Ethereum only for five.
I think that we are still just at the start of the crypto currency revolution.
So beginning right now surely is not too late!
But whether it is a good time to buy or not, that decision has to make everybody for himself!

  It's me!!!

Hello,

I'm still learning about crypto currencies and willing to buy some bitcoins. Is it good time to buy?

Thanks
If you want to learn more, then read more thread in this forum. It will help you a lot when it comes to investment and trading strategies. If you want to buy some bitcoin, now is the good time since the price of bitcoin is too low. Buy low then sell high, there is your profit.

Considering bitcoin has dropped about 50% from its highest point I wouldn't say it is too late. It might be too late to earn thousands of time your capital but it is certainly not too late to still make decent gains.

The way to answer your question is to ask yourself do you see bitcoin changing the world of finance in any way, ie will it take market share from regular cash/card/paypal transactions, or will it become a better store of wealth than gold or other types of assets? No one knows with absolute certainty the answer to those questions but if you look at the technology and development coming to bitcoin you get an idea of what the future might hold. Similarly you can get an idea by looking at the technology behind various altcoins.

Why is this important? Because if bitcoin or an alt truly becomes mainstream for transactions or the average portfolio then the price can still go up 10x if not more than the current price. So how much do you truly believe in the technology?

i suggest you weigh the situation because base on what i have witnessed, it is best to buy coins when the market cap of bitcoin is so low because it will be cheaper. you'll be able to save more money and use the excess to buy more coins.

First of all welcome on board, you are on the right platform if you are expecting knowledge about Bitcoin as well as crypto industry. Now coming back to your topic, I don't think that it is too late to get involved with Bitcoin are cryptocurrencies.

Things are still in the development mode and not even 10% of world's population is using Bitcoin at this stage so, in the next 10 years, I am expecting tremendous growth in the user base as well as in the price. So I would recommend you to invest your time before investing your money and do your own research before rushing to invest anywhere, there is still plenty of time and opportunities waiting out there.

I will  say that it is never too late to buy bitcoins as there are still chances for the bitcoins price to rise due to more demand in the market and as every day new user's are entering the bitcoin world the prices keeps on shooting, but now there is a slight dip in the market which is quite normal like in any financial markets there will always be a hike and dip in the market and the investors normally look to buy when the price drop and sell them when there is a hike in the market which will help them to earn profits.

for new players like you if you buy bitcoin the price is too high is not and is not too late to join in bitcoin only risk factor of new players higher than old players because we know old players have bought bitcoin when the price is very cheap while you are just new just buy bitcoin. so you are not late only risk factor that you have higher course.

As a newbie on this forum, I personally agree that it is not late to join in bitcoin but first and foremost as beginners there is still lots of things to learn on the basics of bitcoin before jumping directly on investing btc coins. Reading a lot on this bitcoin forum could give you a lot of insights about bitcoin and to eventually go through investing. Most importantly, need to consider the daily market movement on the coinmarket cap where you could see the current market price movement. Lastly, in the coming years, bitcoin may become the most valuable currency in the world so keep on learning just as I do.
