tips on cooling block erupter usbs

hi guys i have a rig of 20 block erupters on 2 10 port hubs but i need something to cool them to the max. Fans dont really work i tried usb case fans, flexible fans, and desk fans they still get hot. The only thing that worked for me is putting the block erupters on a vent with ac on but its winter now. Whats a good way to cool them to the max. As i want them to be as efficient as possible and have a long life

in my experience a little bit of airflow does a lot. these things are stable even when hot though so dont be too worried. alternatively, attach some small heatsinks to either the stock plate, or atop the asic chip

I have been running this without using fans, leaving little space for heat out since 24 September 2013, at this moment,  There is no question about all as the aluminum plate protects the circuit not to be over heat

One more thing, 900 J KG/K and 1000 KG/K, the fan is meaningless, just need an open space to finish it, I think the 10 in a row, leaving little space, should not be problem as 3W is so small.

using both stick-on small heatsinks on the component side to cool the Asic and a couple of USB fans helps keep my USB BE's much cooler to the touch than running them uncooled.

So?  Mine are just sat beside the Corsair CX750 PSU that runs my Blades.  The slight breeze of it's 140mm fan is enough.

I'm not sure they ever were.  But they have blinky lights, so it's OK.

i use USB fans from ebay to cool them. not the ones on a stick, but the ones that look like a mini household fan

Ensure there is enough space for metal heating. The metal plate heat transfer is close to air due to aluminum nature so. If you keep enough space (Horizontal connection Typical Motherboard connection, safe), the aluminum plate will do the rest for you.  I have been operating six USB Eruptor for at least 5 days, no fan, just nature array, there is no errors during the mining.

USB Eruptor, One cannot do the job, Two can do little, At least five, meaningful. Although the 2.5W For 330Mh/s may be bad idea, more trustful as the big number being as 28nm is still an advance topic.

I grabbed an old RVK extractor from a part dismantled bathroom. The miners are mounted in a plastic box, with a hole cut into the lid to feed the air in and the PSUs outside the whole thing. Near constant uptime.
