We need to talk about language...
I do some translations once in a while. And it occurs to me that the language (English) used is often really bad on ICO websites/ANNS/BOUNTIES. I'm not (even) a native English speaker myself but even I can see that the language being used isn't professional. Now if you do an ICO, plan to get >10M $ with some bright idea, got a whole team of educated professionals behind you, then how come you can't find one (1) person in your team or pay for one person who can review your announcement in English?
I'll tell you why: because a lot of ICO's are scams and we've come to the point that people invest their money so easily in ICO's that the people behind them don't even need to formulate their idea in proper English. Do they really think that ANY real life serious investor would put a dime in a project whose creators don't even feel the need to use adequate language/vocabulary?
I guess there are a lot of bonafide projects with people behind them who just don't speak/write proper English. That's why I would suggest a new kind of bounty within the translation bounties: Review of site/ann/bounty in English.
Nevertheless, to me it means this circus won't last much longer the way things are turning out right now.
