Join a bounty of such ICO that already raised considerable amount of money. Because projects usually dedicate specific percentage for bounty so 3% of $3,000,000 is much more than 5% of $200,000.
Also read what is the project about. You should be at least slightly interested in their business.

Well actually its not free, because you are rendering your services for you to get a bounty. Airdrop is free, but still be careful on joining a bounty/airdrop because some of them are total waste of time and effort and sometimes ended up as a scam. Make some research about that coin, read the project and participate later on.

Its true that bounty is not free though you can have it in an easiest way but still not free. Its not hard to analyze if the project are scam because some are still shit on making details on their site and even on a white paper but you better to be careful and don't expect something in return easily.

the thing to consider in choosing a project to follow a bounty project is to read the white paper. whether the project has white paper or not, then the developers of the project, see the background if it can be up to its social media. then the profit bid whether promising or not. maybe that's just my experience when choosing a bounty project

totally agreed and there will always no assurance that they will pay you, it will depends on the devs if they will pay the bounty hunters although it will give a negative impression to them in the community if they will not to.

Its a good strategy also to look for the manager of that bounty cause I believe good manager always accept bounty campaign which they think can protect their reputation but of course you still need to do your own research. A lot of scam bounties so never fall on that shit and regret the time you render their, read everything about that coin.

Perhaps best checking out the project manager first, usually a good manager will select the project that will be published and checked and can guarantee he can also produce, especially the manager will maintain his reputation so as not to be tarnished with a scam project.

I agree that it is necessary to study the project, the team , the roadmap, the spreadsheet ( if there is no spreadsheet, it is impossible to track participation in the project).  In my opinion it is possible to learn that this fraud only in one case after completion of the company.
