Hi everybody!

want to ask if someone is familiar with project:
http://www.mybtcpool.com/

was searching to buy a btc pool solution for solo mining for a some time and suddenly remembered that back in 2015 was in contact with one guy from ebay(Bryan) who was selling something what I wanted now. Found in chat history his contacts and wrote that want to purchase the minig pool solution:
https://mybtcpool.com/product/bitcoin-namecoin-litecoin-dogecoin-merged-mining-pool/
and was proposed current version:
http://mybitcoins.xyz/BTC/public/index.php
After a few short here-and there chat with Bryan about how their platform is cool and how much BTC I could have earned if I bought it earlier or how many I will earn with solo mining now, I was told that he is selling lots of pools and sold from 2015 few hundreds of their solution.

First I was suspicious that couldn't find any reviews or positive feedback in the net neither about this solution or the website selling it.

Nevertheless our negotiations were going nice - I was offered to pay via Pay Pal on the website shop and was preparing to close the deal, but today after clearing all the tech specs and details Bryan wrote me «looked into paypal and they told me there polices so about payment it is going to be easier to pay with bitcoin» and now he can accept only BTC upfront payment. After that I was a bit disappointed because had earlier not such a good experience with payment in advance) but still optimistic Grin and proposed him an independent escrow service or trusted escrow service peeps from btctlk (sent him OgNasty and SebastianJu profiles). But suddenly after my proposal of escrow for safe deal for both of us got from him few messages that I am probably a scammer bcs he is such a trustful guy and he so many happy clients and that and his unique solution is worth almost nothing - 2k usd and so on..my answer to him was that I need some recommendations for him from a trusted person or I can even add some price up and we can do a 2.3k-2.5k usd payment with ebay..but only misunderstanding was between us bcs I didnt want to sent money upfront immediately in BTC and he stood on ultimatum that or I will pay in BTC or no deal at all.

Maybe someone has good/bad experience with this suspect? bcs there just has to be something during the years of doing business

thanks for attention  Smiley and maybe someone will find this info helpful too  Wink

If he sold few hundreds of their solution since 2015, then he should already know PayPal's terms and conditions.

Very suspicious behaviour at least.

His website design just simple and the webhost is godaddy.com
In the contact page it says: "When is comes to activating or installing a new product let our experts get you up and running fast."
I don't knowwho the experts he referring to, I don't see experts
on his about page as well. Please read the the Terms and Conditions,
specially the Disclaimer part.

On the Facebook Fan page I saw some pictures, but I don't know if
its a taken from photobucket. No Likes or Comments.

Brian's Facebook profile shows a big house not his picture.
but he has 5000 friends.

You need to investigate more before making the final decision.

Asking for payment upfront, then the refusal to use a trusted escrow is very sketchy in my opinion. Do you have any screenshots where he refused to accept escrow? I'm not entirely sure if it was maybe your tone, but it was more likely on his part. Either way, it would be good to see some screenshots for context.

Of course I would like to have a independent opinion  Smiley

After his last message I took a timeout contacting bcs he was getting kind of nervous about doing safe deal with escrow service or providing some recommendations from a trusted person.

In my opinion judging from your screenshots, the reasons he puts out are sketchy, especially his refusal to use escrow with SebastianJu. There should be little to no hesitation to accepting escrow. (Especially if the other person pays the fees)

Saying that "under 2 BTC is a joke" is also a weak reply in my opinion, as while that amount isn't colossal, it's big enough to use escrow. However, these are just my opinions.

Absolutely agree with you.

After compare of 2 btc with a joke and radical escrow refusal my willingness to proceed with the deal went down.

These and other arguments I didn't post here are quite offensive and arrogant for a businessman selling his product.
This is not the way a customer should be treated and even if the guy is legit I better give my money to someone who is client oriented.
I imagine what after-sales service he is providing Cheesy

Already had bad experience trusting my BTC with upfront payment so I am not falling for advance trust giving to anyone who has no positive feedback or recommendations from a trusted person.

I bet if will try to add any option to deal like invoice for wire payment, providing his ID, or trusted recommendation he will refuse to do it and call me scammer  Grin

Hi - does anybody out there have any updated information on Bryan Young and mybtcpool.com?

he claims to have sold this to over a hundred people, but will not point to anybody else that is successfully running and hitting blocks...

if anybody has any new information they can share, please post or DM me...

when he reimages his server drive, it comes already hashed with contributor shares...

He also has these two sites...
http://mybitcoins.xyz/BTC/public/index.php
http://mybtccoin.com/

HAS ANYBODY SEEN THIS MERGED SETUP WORKING ANYWHERE ONLINE?? JUST TRYING TO REACH OUT TO SOMEONE THAT IS ACTUALLY RUNNING THIS AND WORKING...
