Anyone from the Dev team looking over this thread? the wallet is having issues: forced closed, not opening, staking not getting active. People in Discord group are panic selling because Devs are MIA and hasn't talk to the community in a week.
I have experienced today, wallet not opening, close shutdown automatically, staking not active even we set staking=1 and unlocked wallet |

Hi Guys
Seems like the Dev's have skipped the nest.
One of the guys have updated the wallet & a couple of us tested it - staking seems to work on it. Masternode will be attended to once all the staking is running on OSX, Linux, Windows.
We're still in the Discord server & it looks like that it will turn into a community fork with its own Discord Channel.
New wallet links will be made available on the FIX discord in a while.
One of the "Dutch Mods" did however say that there is an announcement tonight - so we're checking what will happen there.

Fornix has been applied to CMC.
well, its the "dev team" word, right ? we dont have proofs, i think they have run away and will launch new coin, i have seen this a lot of time, just let a very low order and wait it to fill... and sell after while, its the better way to gain some money with scams. Your approach requires the necessary condition that the coin will pump in the future. There are enough examples though where coins die completely and the blockchain stops working when all nodes get shut down. Not a good situation to hold a big bag of worthless coins then. |

Scam project the developer disappeared ! made the appearance that he was online  do not buy it ! There was a cunning developer, showed that he was online, but in fact he was not and will not be! well at least not as with edgy ! |

I think we would all like to know for clarity; when you say the Dev's are on holiday, does that mean they are gone with the intention of returning, or that they left with no intention of returning (ie scammers)

@EVERYONEAs you may have read above, the original devs, Fornix and shivvy have bailed on the project. Reasons are unknown and unclear but are likely due to simple greed. Clone dash, market the coin as something new, wait for people to get in and cash out.
However, the project is not dead yet. Community has taken over and a lot of work has to be made to get Fornix going again. What I can say:
1. The coin is currently still Fornix. No fork has happened (yet). The danger of not forking lies mostly in the fact that the original devs might still have a bunch of FIX coins and could dump the price at will. This will likely be put up to a vote at some point
2. Please join the new discord channel: https://discord.gg/ESmzRqt
2. There is no defined direction taken yet for the coins purpose. This will again have to be voted on by the community. We have the foundations of a coin that works, it is now up to the community as a whole to take a direction
3. The wallet has been fixed by community members. Staking works normally and the wallet will not shut down at start
4. Make sure you update your VPS wallet if you run a masternode
These are the main questions that seem to appear on discord.
We are all trying to salvage this. If you have further questions or want to chime in, feel free to come to discord and have a chat!
