Yes, ethereum has good future because many industries adopt technology behind of ethereum ( build dapps, smart contract ). As eth is becoming more and more popular, with a community that is growing, i'm sure eth will stay for quite a while.

In my opinion, Ethereum will not go through a major correction with 50% loss, there is much expectation and many investments in that currency. About the question will depend on the currencies you own, whether it is feasible keep or disposable and if you do not have something in mind, Ethereum may be a good choice.

Selling some things and investing in Ethereum is a good idea?
I think Ethereum has the potential to grow and increase in its value. But the thing is the price is already high at the moment, Investing in it while the price was already high you could only buy a few. I would rather suggest buying a potential alternate currency that has a big potential to grow just like what happened in the path of Ethereum a year ago. It would be worth a risk when you have bought it at a low price. |

I also have some ETH in my portfolio. It is very useful cryptocurrency, which will be in demand and the price will be higher and higher. Also i use Ether to participate in different ICO and sending/converting erc-20 tokens via Ethereum. |

What sort of things are you planning on to buy Ethereum? If these things are not valuable to you then you are doing a right thing investing the money in crypto. I am an Ethereum fan myself . I love the way it works and ifs technology is some thing else. I am trying to collect as much Eth as I can . Although I have only a small amount , I feel the price is still low and it has the ability to grow more in future.

ETH is definitely really good for long term HODL.
If your plan is a long term investment, put your money in ETH or even BTC is a really good option for your portfolio.
Some said that both coins are for stability and indeed that's true. Compare the pump and dump shit coins that lately hit the market like a crazy.
