I am announcing a clone which looks to compliment the Ripple network called NetPay (XNP). Hopefully we as a community can agree on a system that we would all love to use to instantly send payments globally.

We will need:

- Developers
- Logo designs (smeagol, )
- Promoters (smeagol, )

Specs:

- Ripple clone with no premine
- An equal distribution through seeders (similar to torrents)
- Mobile app for on the go payments

Release:

TBA

Personal budget: 10 BTC (mostly for devs)

Why do you want to spend time, money and effort on it?

Don't make a ripple clone, make a simple clone coin with rare rewards like Minecoin, Bitbar, CGB etc., then make an aggressive marketing on this forum and after your coin will become a big success. That's all and it's much easier!

Been there, done that. Every new coin release is becoming quieter and quieter. I have always wanted a system like Ripple and I have been given the best opportunity to explore the system further. A lot of people are against Ripple, lets fix this with NetPay.

I will be contacting the domain owners shortly. If this proves to be unsuccessful there are some ways around this such as the following:

- Choose a new name
- Establishing a company behind the coin (Example; OpenCoin)
- Variations of the name
- Purchase a low tier handle (unlikely)

I have another idea but I won't express it in the public forum as I won't be able to act until the weekend.

Due to the dismal fall of LTC I may no longer be able to pay 10 BTC. Although I am putting thought into how people will be rewarded for the project. If this is going to be a forum project, more people need to step up to see it become a success. I have begun emailing domain holders of NetPay.

All the source code required to operate rippled has been released (its in the repository).

After some months, we decided to not use the entirety of the Ripple code, instead we have created something from scratch. I think you all will be very happy about the reveal when we require beta testers soon. Not saying too much but security will be a huge deal and each user will have two wallets. There will be a trading platform at launch.

You don't need marketing if the solution proposed is good, let your work speak by itself :-)
