this has always been a bit strange to me that there usually are these "big things" you can buy with bitcoin. like real estate for example! that is a lot of money and if someone has that much bitcoin they usually are not willing to give that much up at this price specially. if price was $100k maybe but not at $10k.

If I'm supposed to buy a house then I would stick to fiat. It is much more stable to use but if you really want to use BTC then go ahead. I prefer spending fiat in these matters. I have something which I can use BTC better though.

Well one benefit is obvious, people think if you don't cash out your bitcoin to FIAT then you don't have to pay any tax. You can buy goods and leave the taxman out of it. Buying a house would probably not work in this regard as you will have to register your property in your country. If you would buy outside the country you live in it might be easier.
