Sale is closed. Bitfurystrikesback are now selling chips again - at a significantly lower BTC price than we paid for our pre-order Sad, so this sale no longer makes sense.

We have 20 bitfury ASIC chips in hand that we've found that we no longer need and we're looking to sell them either as single chips or in multiples of chips. These could be of interest to those developing DIY projects or for those with an assembly service in mind. We can ship immediately (we aim to ship by the next working day if possible, depending on when orders are received).

Cost per chip = 0.4 BTC + shipping costs edit: price drop, see post below.
Please pm me for a personalised estimate of shipping costs to you.
Buyers will need to be aware of customs regulations etc. when ordering and it is the buyers responsibility to ensure that appropriate arrangements are made for the chips to pass smoothly through customs. These chips will be shipped from the EU, so shipping within the EU will be much simpler than outside the EU.
We're more than happy to use a reputable escrow service (can I suggest SebastianJu?) Buyer pays escrow fees.

Chip details
Bitfury ASIC chips can potentially deliver up to 3 GH/s per chip (see http://www.bitfurystrikesback.com/product/bitfury-55nm-asic-chip-2/ for details). Please note that this sale is for Bitfury ASIC chips **only**. These need to be assembled onto an appropriate PCB, with appropriate power, controller, cooling etc. in order to mine bitcoins. This sale is therefore appropriate for people developing their own DIY projects or who have access to a bitcoin miner assembly service that specialises in Bitfury ASICs.

Chip features
•   55nm process
•   Full-custom hand-routed design
•   Experimental low-threshold voltage transistors
•   QFN 48 7mm x 7mm package
•   756 rolled hash cores
•   Demonstrated performance 3 GH/sec @ ~0.85W/Ghps

Chips are brand new and unused and have come to us directly from the EU distributor. They are loose chips and will be packaged in anti-static bags prior to shipping. Chips have not been tested by us and we are selling them as seen with no warranty.

Price drop, due to increasing BTC/Fiat rates this week, and some discounts for multiple chip purchases:

1-5 chips = 0.375 BTC per chip + shipping costs
6-10 chips = 0.36 BTC per chip + shipping costs
11-15 chips = 0.35 BTC per chip + shipping costs
16-19 chips = 0.34 BTC per chip + shipping costs
20 chips = 0.34 BTC per chip & free shipping within the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm (insured up to £500). For shipping outside the UK you pay the increase in costs above the UK shipping rate.

Chips will go on ebay later today if there's no interest here.
