A Creative Concept from Seasoned Cryptocurrency Specialists
The idea comes from a team of highly reputable cryptocurrency specialists, led by Marc Kenigsberg, a notorious Bitcoin advocate, and early adopter. Marc Kenigsberg has been involved with the gambling industry since 1999 and was responsible for some of the largest brands in the world. 6 years ago, he became involved with Bitcoin and has been a passionate advocate ever since, launching BetChain, one of the biggest Bitcoin casinos in the space and Bitcoin Chaser, one of the biggest affiliate sites in the space.

Marc came up with the idea for CoinJanitor after a discussion about failed blockchain projects. No one really knows what happens when a blockchain project dies or how it failed. Nevertheless, there can be as many as 3,000 such projects, trapping value that can be recycled.

CoinJanitor, Forks, and Value to Investors!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year you’ve probably heard of the term ‘fork’. Fork’s came to fame in 2017 with it sparking great controversy throughout the crypto community and actually dividing many into separate camps. Ethereum faced a philosophical dilemma in early 2017 proceeding the infamous DAO hack that parted 50 million dollars from their investors. The dilemma was simple: roll back the chain until before the hack occurred and go on as if nothing had happened or continue the (then) main Ethereum blockchain and uphold the tenet of immutability. Eventually, the decision was made to opt for the former choice, but at much contention and the cost of many members of the Ethereum community leaving; a sizable number of the old Ethereum community have kept the original chain operating to this day, called Ethereum Classic.

JAN’s Value Proposition

First and foremost, JAN will increase in value because of the project’s unique community growth mechanism. Every time that CoinJanitor buys out an inactive project, that project’s coin holders will receive JAN tokens and be introduced to the CoinJanitor project. From there, they will face a choice between trading their JAN tokens for other currencies or holding.

Human psychology plays to JAN’s favor here, as most people will likely choose an inactive approach and hold on to their new tokens in hopes of regaining value rather than making the effort to trade them for pennies on the dollar relative to their initial holdings. Not only that, but it’s money that all of those coin holders will have assumed was lost when the original project failed. That further increases the odds that they would be willing to speculate on JAN’s value increasing rather than immediately cashing out for an insignificant sum. As a result of those factors, the CoinJanitor community will be constantly integrating new users under a single umbrella, contributing to a powerful network effect that increases demand for JAN with each project that the team buys out.
