I don't have much money to become contrarian like that. Buy when the price drops sharply is too risky. My strategy for now is buy when the price start to go up so if I do it then it will contribute to the increasing price of bitcoin.

Buying in low is most commonly practiced by everyone, but of course, we only used that strategy to a potential coin knowing that it will rise back in a while.
It will work well and it gives us more profit compared to buying coins at the start of recovery(as you've said), in fact, the risk will be that high instead.
We need to be wise and do smart things cause this is the only way we could generate more profits.

If the price getting down again, I put 30% more.

Yes, you are right based on the coin we choose them in the market and once the price of Bitcoin starts increasing we might see the downfall of the coins. So short term trader will not bother about the price of Bitcoin because at the end of the day what was their returns on the trading they do.

I follow the same strategy i've even recently bought at $7,700 level but unfortunately it came down much lower and it was unexpected and due to the quarantine i've lost my regular job and haven't able to buy this critical moment when the price came down to $3000 because i needed the money to buy food and essentials.

Here we should always follow a different strategy because every time it is impossible for us to keep on investing all money in one position. When the price drops slightly we should invest 25% of our capital because if the price of coin may increase we can make profit on our investment and if the price drops even more than we will invest another percentage from our holding. We should always plan a different strategy when we are doing placing orders.
