its really hard to see this coin become what it has!
remembering the good ole days when i sold for 21000 sat and then was upset cuz soon after i could only get 17000.
unfortunately without an active  and accessible dev this coin will find really hard roads just to hang on

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Guys, be reasonable, this coin is pretty much dead. I mean its selling for what, 80 satoshis? That's a joke.

I'm not trying to be an ass. I was as a big of a supporter of this coin as anyone, and lost BTC on it, and was mining almost since the beginning. The coin itself was really good, wallet software pretty good, and I thought it would do better but it didn't.  But at this point its all moot, this coin is toast.  I figured it was pretty much over with Cryptsy.

There are just too many [hundreds] of altcoins and HBN got lost in the mix after the big initial pump and dump and their was no ecosystem large enough to support it.

It had a good run I guess.  But RIP Hobonickels.  I think I have around 15,000 left but its not even worth the power any more to mine them anymore, even though its POS, (or even redownload the chain again, last time it corrupted was nightmare) and that should tell you something.

GEEZ GUYS

CRY ME A RIVER.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DksSPZTZES0

So HBN hit some price lows so frickin what.

All of this despair , for what ,
I will tell you what a Measly .42 BTC between the current price and HBN being worth 1cent again.  Tongue
That is only $238.18 US .

In my day, we had to carry our Crypto in the SNOW 10 miles UPHILL BOTH WAYS.  Wink
And did we complain, heck no, we adapted and we overcame the obstacles.

So Adapt and Overcome!

FYI:
Here is what Crypto used to look like.

FYI2:
Lets be clear on what coin death is, That is when the coin can no longer be transferred between wallets.
Low Prices does not a coin death make, even now HBN Network has more active connections that some wallets with a $ million market cap.
Also the HBN Snapshot works use it , if you need it :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1378653.msg14024568#msg14024568

Officially concludes Old Man Rant.

The coin dies with the last supporter, so it is damn hard to kill it. Everything except the obvious scams is still alive. Including Paycoin. Anyone who sells this for 80 satoshi is either staking or crazy. And HBN has a community of seasoned men, not hotheads.

i agree, it s slow dying
not fault the coin  but there is not advertising, or market, cryptopia is to small exchange

when you see how people buy shitcoins, and look how many people play with etc  Roll Eyes when most people agree with the fork  and now they not anymore ?  Roll Eyes, actually the miners they don't care they follow the money

i don't agree with you, dead coin is also when it s worth nothing
doesn't mean that the blockchain must be stuck or something

there are other coins where wallet still working but they in dead category, because mostly no trade and worth nothing

and what is the point to keep hbn like this ?, the coin is useless , why should people buy it when there are so many coins out there

the coin need a new plan  or it dies

if hbn was listed on poloniex
you got a lease trades  pump and dump probably
when a troll say something in the trollbox lot of sheep's follow, they don't even know what they buy

but it make the coin more know

Sorry if I pissed anyone off with my comment  Tongue

As I said, was one of the biggest supporters of this coin.

And no it's not dead-dead. But it might as well be, is all I'm saying. It has been on a steady downhill in value for what, over 2 years now? It went from what, 50,000 sats to 80 sats? I dunno I guess some have different idea's of what dead is. For me, it's just about next to worthless at 80 sats, and there seems virtually no chance it'll go up, so, well, make your own conclusions I guess.  And for anyone that lost 96% or whatever of the BTC they put into it, I'm sure they'd figure the coin to be dead as well.

And definitely not dissin Tranz or the coin itself. But lets be real about this. A PoS coin will naturally always have huge sell pressure and the price is just about subterranean now, and there is no foreseeable reason why there would be any price pressure in the opposite direction. And besides all that even, the blockchain and resource use of HBN is getting way too high.

But hey if you still dig it, keep it going, by all means.

If you really think it is dead , sell and move on.
In fact that is what grow ups do, make a decision, and follow thru.
This baby attitude the coin price is too low, it is dead, boo hoo.

If it is really dead why are all of these asshats trying so hard to convince everyone else, it is dead.
If it was really dead, no one would need to be convinced.

But the constant (it is dead) lying gets on my nerves.

The HBN coin network is still alive, No matter what B.S. you asshats are trying to pull.

 Cool

FYI:
Quick Comparison
ECCoin is selling for only 0.00500000 of a Dogecoin, and no one in there forum whines like you bunch of crybabies do in this forum.
Prices will rise and fall, pop those entitled silver crybaby spoons out of your mouths and grow the hell up.

No you can't do that,
You Say it is Dying, therefore it will have 0 Value, Sell yours Now Before it is too late.

Keeping Any HBN , Implies you don't believe it is dead , only resting maybe before an increase.
So Sell it All and Delete your Wallet, if you want anyone to believe you.

IMO, a few of you are trying to scam the rest with all of this dead coin talk, so either quit it or back it up Sell All of your HBN before it is too Late.  Wink

everybody's trying to scam you kiklo,
but eventually you'll have aaaaaalll hbn's in the world,
except mine of course,
i keep'em in a dark place, conducting horrifying experiments  Shocked
(like testing chain stability, staking tactics etc.)

That is the Plan, once I have all of the HBN,
I will raise the price to $1000 per coin and buy an island somewhere.  Cheesy

Is this coin dead? I don't see it on any exchanges since the cryptsy fiasco. You should be listed otherwhere.

Price is not good, I remember the price was over 20k sat on cryptsy. It is an old POSW coin, it was very valuable at that time(2014)
