bset price i got is 1601

last week i notice no lot buyers so price where going fast down

do you think there are people with 1millions hbn ?
sometimes i see a lot of dump they must have collect a lot sins the begin i imagine

I am sure there are some with 1MM. I am not among them.  I think one of the resasons there are not more buy order is because the new issues with Cryptsy. It is hard to get money out so people are less prone to put money in bids.
Cryptsy have told me that they are having problems in processing withdrawal requests for BTC, LTC and BTCD. If anyone has those coins stranded on Cryptsy, and want to get out, convert into other coins. Other crypto withdrawal requests are being processed quickly.

Yes - when you stake the block splits - now you have 2 smaller blocks which still earn the same % - you get less coins because there are 2 smaller blocks - if you want larger POS stakes you need to combine smaller blocks (without going over the 250HBN max stake)

If you like the frosted side of your mini-wheat cereal then combining your HBN into larger chunks also helps keep the staking difficulty lower and thus reward% higher.  4000-6000HBN blocks are a nice target size.

If you like the whole wheat side of your mini-wheat cereal then let the wallet split/combine your blocks, which tends to drive up difficulty (better security) and lower reward (less inflation).

I thought the max stake reward was 250, which would be too small for 6k blocks.

Not according to math...

100% annual reward max/(365day yr-/10 days stake) = max 2.74%/stake round.  6000HBN * 0.0274 = 164.4HBN

Annual reward rate has been nowhere near 100% for months, typically 80%ish range lately so actual values will be lower.  I recently had a 6789.44HBN block stake 169.87.

In the OP it says 250, I didn't realize there are additional circumstances.  Thanks for the info

The max stake reward is 250 as in the OP but you need a block size of at least 9124 at annual rate of 100% to hit the max stake reward cap.  Keep in mind that most blocks do not stake exactly at 10.0 days so I would just toss out 8500 as a maximum block size to avoid hitting the 250 cap in case you forget to open your wallet on the right day.  Wink

Maybe my math is off (I am getting old) but 100%/yr pd every 10 days is 36.5 10 day periods/yr.
That is a little less than 2.74%/10 days. 9100 coin block would yeild 249.24 assuming you don't go over
10 days. My most recent stake was 4500+ HBN and I received just under 122 HBN POS -
I  usually stack 4000 to 8000 per block

Your math matches exactly with what I posted above so that is reassuring.  Cheesy

I pushed a request to Poloniex, I consider moving there from Cryptsy since they have the highest volumes of all altcoin exchanges together with Bittrex

Yes I think there is a small bug. You need to re-click enable after a restart. I will look at it soon.

Hello all. I recently received a note from dreamwatcher. The yearly fee for HBN and CAP on CCE has come due. The fee to renew both for the year is $440.  For just 1 it is 275.

Is this something we want to renew as a community?  If so I need your help. I can not cover the cost myself. I need to raise at least $350 from the community and I will cover the rest.

Due date is the 1st of the year.

To donate for HBN send BTC here: 1GMH9jMKfrDx5ZurAwPqp7gwAerGKiPtFs

To donate for CAP send BTC here: 13Kwcjsprq942Bx3ddYFqzHgHnwdTx2dFw

If neither gets enough, the funds maybe combined to give at least 1 of them renewal, HBN will be first. If the combined total is not enough, funds will be returned.  We'll cross that bridge if it comes to it.

I think Presstab's block explorer is leaps and bounds better than any other and would rather put effort into raising funding to keep CAPs on there (and get HBN added*).  I have fired back up some GPUs to try and mine enough BTC to cover CAPs next monthly payment but not yet actually made the payment.

*HBN is apparently a bit more resource intensive presstab mentioned HBN would require a $30 setup fee and $10/month fee; 6month minimum.

I agree, i find myself mostly looking at Presstabs explorer and not so much CCE anymore.
Combined with the fact that for less than $270,- he is willing to host both CAP and HBN for one year I would suggest this option as my favorite.

I am ok with whatever the community decides. We can still raise money to go to either of these. If you donate and have a preference just post it or PM it to me.

IMO
Chainz has the Best Block Explorer    Smiley

https://chainz.cryptoid.info

Check it out and compare it's features with the others beats them hands down.

Hosting rate is currently ~$10 per month
So only $240 for both coins for an entire year or pay monthly
They even setup a btc address so you can pay a little at a time and your time automatically extends.
