what do you mean, not sync ? did you restart the wallet?, is your cpu fast enough ?

Yes, thank you, for some strange reason, my wallet stopped communicating with all connected peers and continued to make stake, like i was on my own fork!

I restored a backup of last Sunday and resynced.

recently I had a total hard drive failure and lost my entire HBN wallet, blockchain and all. I had to re- download HBN wallet. I do have my wallet.dat file from a backup to thumb drive from some time ago. I have been trying to reconnect to network to resync HBN but am seeing in debug go fill just thousands of "connect() failed after select(): Connection refused" For some reason none of the peers are letting me connect. Any suggestions for resyncing this wallet so I can import my wallet file and get back to my HBN?

You can try my current connections, configure them in the HoboNickels.conf file:

Use a snapshot from kiklo, else you'll have for a really long times, more than a week if you're lucky

Cryptopia is actually not a bad exchange. Excellent interface that works fast on slow computers, unlike bittrex and yobit that freeze for 30 seconds every time you switch a page. Good exchange for hbn longterm probably.

Bittrex is utter shit, cryptopia beats them in every single way.

Polo is a pretty well made exchange but I think Cryptopia matches them or beats them in most ways.

 I wonder why they did not simply copy the old blockchain. The market price cannot be realistic if coins cannot be deposited or withdrawn.
