About mining / POW:

I seemed to miss any discussion on this, if there was any.

So the block time was increased, but the block reward was kept the same?  Block time increased from 30sec to 2 mins.  So the POW reward was quartered effectively?

Which does it really matter, because the POW is going to end on Block 6,000,000?  This is like a run up to ending POW, and no longer being a hybrid coin.

Is it even worth mining at this point, and should H2C just de-list it, realistically?

That is up to them. I am still solo mining it. With a single GAW Miner.

On another note the 2nd part of the Fork has now taken place. The PoS Difficulty is now at 1.7 and the PoS % is about 36% right now. So I think that is a bit lower then anticipated or wanted, but for now that is what we have.

It should fluctuate between 30 and 50% for a while as people come and go on the network.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I assume you might have started on the bad chain? Or got forked off right at the beginning when there was much strife on the network.
In any event I would suggest turning off wallet. Removing Peers.dat downloading the blockchain and txlevel from hobonickels.info and start up with connections from cryptopia or from Explorer.

Also before you go can you type getpeerinfo in console and send it to me.

Everyone else was just in a block download initialization . So you guys started creating your own chain with no one else there to tell it was not right.  Again I suspect when the fork started up, many clients struggled due to many blocks to quickly, you got caught up on that. I think a fresh re-sync form the last good backup should be good.

the new wallet works awesome, Tranz can u get us on Bittrex? you need to verify yourself as dev and such, cryptopia is not enough to push this coin where it should be

Let's give 2.0 a full week to burn in and then assuming all is well I will go ahead and start a conversation with them.

This is a thing of beauty though.

Love the ping times!

Really nice Tranz!

Sorry Zels Sad If it makes you feel any better I had to do 2 rescans due to development issues. Lost 5 hours waiting for it. After the rescan, shouldn't have to do a repair, but won't hurt.

I wonder if the mature time really has dropped from 10 days to 1 day. Reorganized coins have not staked yet after 3 days. Any info about this?

50000

potential stake is around 130 now, and age is nearly 3 days

I have some of them, so statistically it should happen.

OK I have a few at various sizes including a risky one @+100k (interest rate might still be low enough to miss the cap)

lets see what happens  though I have plenty sitting around 7-8k which are 8 days and I would have expected at least one to go by now

You can see in coin control, the coins that are 1 day old and greater have weight. So they can stake. But with the higher difficulty can take a while to stake.   I'll try to find an example to ensure it is working correctly.

I just had one and it orphaned .lol

scratch that .. wrong wallet.

I can see why there might be cause for concern as I have some blocks at 8.8 days which have 10x the weight of much smaller blocks at 13-14 days and only blocks over 10 days have staked since the fork .. but its no scientific.

My old stakes are around 5k in size, and with a potential reward of around 40, and they are minting all the time.

The new wallet with the large stakes is telling me: "not staking, because you don't have mature coins", and "current wallet pos weight: 0". The largest stakes of them have an age of over 3 days, and a pos weight potential stake reward of 135 (by coin control).
