use cryptofunds.pw - 0% trade fees.

Five reasons why you should not use them:

1) they are new and unestablished
2) their about us page doesn't indicate who the owners are
3) in their terms they mention Cyprus, but no address, no phone, no contact, no representative
4) they are not registered with FinCEN
and
5) they have chosen to hide their site registration information

Here is a link that I keep to remind me of how dangerous the cryptocurrency industry is:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83794.0

all you need to do is read the first OP that should put things in perspective for a long while.

BTW, polonex went down again today for a few hours, returned a little bit ago with lots of things frozen.   [I don't know why they went down or why things are still frozen], if you have anything of substance there you might want to move it as soon as it thaws.

someone just offloaded 10,000 hbn on cryptsy! that's the most i've seen traded since i discovered this coin about 2months ago.

This has a huge PoS income. Somebody probably just forgot about it and suddenly saw the golsmine.

I think it's more like we have shot up so much, some people are going to want to lock in profits (which does make sense.) Not too many people rode btc all the way to 1000+... a lot of people locked in profits at $20, $50, $100 etc.

It's actually a good thing for us as long as it doesn't get TOO crazy, because some moderate selling = massive players with huge weight giving up stake for a bit and less stake = more for us. Remember Tranz said if too many people stake all the time the interest rate will go down.

Cryptocurrency trading is the worst type of trading there is, this is not the place to go if you have any sort of money issues.

Quit while you can.  Come back after you have done your homework and have more than enough to work so that if you lose 114 hbn it won't  =( you out.

I understand that. Haven't ever had an issue with an exchange in the past. I took it for granted this time and assumed it was a decent website. Oh well, guess I learned a lesson. Only work with cryptsy...

clearly you need to do a whole lot of homework

there is no saint exchange, they are ALLLLL dangerous, just earlier today polonex shut down for hours then returned with many wallets frozen.  Yes, there was the "im sorry" but there was no advanced notice.  there are people over there riding the XBC wave over there have thousands on the line and just keep it on the site because they don't want to lose out on any of the rise, well if the site never came back on line they would be pretty pissed

There are major complaints about many of the exchanges, most are true and some are false but the fact is shit happens frequently in the wild wild west of cryptocurrency

My recommendation is to start with the faucets here's a good reliable resource with many different faucets, some daily, some hourly:
www.getcoin2.com/faucets/emc2/

good luck

The last information from coinex admin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=265277.msg6355483#msg6355483

Me too have some hobos frozen there for almost a month already.
I consider them lost, just checking the situation periodically.

I usually try to transfer btc into the exchange (cryptsy) the day I want to trade it. I will make the trade and transfer out the coins. It minimizes the risk a bit no to store so much.

Oh trust me I usually do my homework on the exchanges. I don't put any BTC into Cryptsy or any exchange for more than 1 hour. I send the btc, use it and transfer everything back out. Unfortunately I just assumed all was well with coinex. Big mistake, but I guess in the long run 114 hbn isn't all that much, especially compared to other people losing out on 1000+.

I did buy in at a decent time, 1500 of them for .0003 each. Wish I had bought more back then though

It means you haven't waited 10 days since transferring the coins to your wallet.

The coins won't even be eligible to stake until they are at least 10 days old. Then they will attempt to stake but it may take a few days before they actually do (or much longer if they are smaller chunks but I assume from what you said that it's 1100 in one chunk which should stake fairly quickly once it hits the 10-day mark.)

You mean coinex.pw? I think it has been hacked over 5-6 times since its launch. I thought it would be dead by now.

Cryptsy, for all its faults, has actually turned out to be the most reliable.
