Not so much improvement. If you look at the price of bitcoin on 1st Jan it was about 15k and now although it got some pace in last week but it is still going to touch 10k and 5k difference is a vast difference.

There are a lot speculation in 2017 that the sudden high in price of Bitcoin might be for temporary time, this prediction scared some people away but looking at the growth in late 2017 and base on the fact that stock market is overpriced and USD is devaluing globally. This may bring millions of investors to invest more in cryptocurrencies, which might trigger the price up by the end of 2018.

First quarter has ended but so far we haven't seen some significant price improvement.
Recent price jump still doesn't look like it could last for a longer period or bring some significant price rise. It seems like price is going back and forth all the time but with small steps. Still there is plenty of time this year for price to grow and I expect to see 15000$ again this year.

Can not be denied, the growth of Bitcoin value in 2017 is arguably fantastic. However, this criticism of the cryptocurrency is analogous to the 'bubble' (because it continues to fly high but can 'erupt' anytime) is still quite attached to the digital currency.

For now, it is yet too early to predict if the value of Bitcoin will increase this year. I say that, because like last year, the surge came at the last quarter where it tripled its value, so until this year is at its end, there are still a lot of changes waiting to happen.
