I don't want to do it as well. I'm tired with all this marathon.

You've been doing a great job on this c-f-b, so I totally understand Smiley

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Suggestion - can you update the original post in this thread with:
1 - the current version number of the NXT client (i.e. the Nxt.zip
2 - a link to the current version

Also, when you update the version on your local machine:
a- do you need to delete all the other files, or just copy over the new Nxt.zip? If the answer is 'no', what would happen if you did delete all the other files?

b- what happens if your account is unlocked on another PC using an older version? Will that cause a problem (i.e. mining, send/receive)?

0.2.3 - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/67242472/Nxt.zip

a. Don't delete *.nxt files, just copy over new Nxt.zip. If u delete them u have to download the blockchain again.
b. No problems, it just increases orhpaned blocks rate.
I lost some transactions..

Yes, totally understandable. I don't really understand BCNext just up and leaving either.. it's his project. Not even Satoshi exited the stage this early on.

How about creating a group account that a few active and trustworthy stakeholders can share, and with that account create a new thread about NXT? That way more than one person can keep the thread updated, sharing the burden. CfB can of course have access to the account too if he wants... and he can give access to BCNext as well.. and seeing as it's a shared account: BCNext could post anonymously (nobody would know it's him).

U have to wait 1440 blocks before being able to mine. It's ~24 hours.

You don´t have to do anything, as soon as you have some coins you will start mining, the more coins you have the higher the chance that you will find a block.
But you have to have the acount open to mine if you close it you will stop to mine...

I send you 4 Nxt Wink

The solution in this? How a miner should know?
Do we have to check all the time?

Thank you for the response. So i just let it run for 24+ hrs and itll automatically start mining? Also im getting alot of errors in my CMD window. java.nio.channels.UnresolvedAddressException and  java.io.IOExceptions: The remote computer refused the network connection. But everything on the window appears to be running smooth...i think lol. Are those issues that need to be fixed?
