I think you mentioned all the important things that affect the path of the currency, and I think it is also important to follow the Telegram group to check where the project arrived and whether there are updates expected or not

I think that the list is quite full. However I would suggest to also look into roadmap.Roadmap could even be more important than whitepaper. If team is following the plan how it's written in roadmap than community supports the project by buying its altcoins. Even if there will be any difference, it should not be that obvious and it won't affect project a lot.

Check the github of the coin if the developers are actively developing the coin that is a good sign,whitepaper will tell you how these people are going to achieve success,roadmap will tell you which or when will this coin are going to be more massive,talking about the current development if the developers are following their roadmap thats very well.

I think first you must look to team and community, if these are okey, then you can search about roadmap, high and low prices, what is the price before some weeks ago, if it rised much so you can wait for buy, I look to these details.
