Please read the setup guide - there is a whole section called "Generate a BLS key pair".

To make it easier, the plan is to move the guide to the official website at one point and to have more of the setup automated than it is currently the case.
I personally almost never use youtube videos for dealing with software installations or issues, since one simply does not really find the part of the video one needs to see.

Running a masternode without VPS is not allowed. I advise setting the hot (VPS) wallet properly for each masternode.

No, I am not mistaken. Masternodes play a central role in utilisation and stability of the network - without hot wallets (VPS) this service cannot be provided.

The individual inputs (to be found in the "Send coins" section of desktop wallet under "Inputs...") have to contain more at least 10000 coins each to be eligible for staking.
