So guys, what do you think about investing in different icos? I think it's a good idea. We never know which will take the lead in the future. Please help me and give me good suggestions!

Yes, we never know wich coin will take the lead in the future but I dont think any other coin can beat bitcoin in the future. I think we can compare bitcoin and other coins with gold and other precious metal. Do you think any other precious metals like silver or platinum can beat gold ?Maybe platinum price is higher than gold but still gold is the most used and popular metal. So, I think it is possible that other coin will beat bitcoin in price but still it is going to remain the king, the most popular and most used coin because thats the first coins and the most important

Investing on the ICOs is really good idea but don't expect your token value to go to the moon because most of the token will lose its value when it listed on exchanges,so if you can find which token can ability to have expensive price in the future then it is good idea but for me investing on ICO is good only for short term investments. |

Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future?
That is biggest danger of decentralization. Bitcoin concept can kill Bitcoin. When Bitcoin is $2,000 or more, people will think of gold and silver as the safest investment. Bitcoin also has to survive safe and government supported investments. $600 will decide the fate of bitcoin. If the governments/central banks start their own cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin will be in real trouble. |

Its very less likely to happen in my opinion, because bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and it is the main source to trade into other coin. The presence of bitcoin is very strong.

Investing in different ICO is really profitable but the questions is how to separate legit and trusted ICO from scammy one? Right now its really difficult because scammers are really that good in hiding their real intentions. Others suggest to look at the whitepaper and the team behind, but its really up to you. Do your own research. I don't know if there are coins that going to overcome bitcoin. So far those who have attempted have failed, so I speculate if there are coins out there, its not born yet and the current breed for me will not have a chance against bitcoin. |

When you invest in bitcoin you are not at risk of becoming a victim of scams. You risk losing your money due to the fall in bitcoin price, but I give you a 100% guarantee that if this happens no coin will survive. Look at the price charts. Price charts of all the coins replicate the indices bitcoin. Therefore, for me, more acceptable investments in bitcoin.

I think there is no new ICO capaple to beat bitcoin. I think bitcoin will be beaten by existing altcoins. And new ICO will beat main crypto then. And it will be not so soon, I guess.

even rightnow, there are no altcoins have enough power to defeat bitcoin, and as long as we keep using bitcoin in the future and bitcoin evolving itself better, then no altcoins even new ICOs coins can beat bitcoin, the community of bitcoin is too big and bitcoin value too high that it is not easy for everyone to quit on bitcoin and change into new altcoins. |

It is very possible that at some point in the future, an altcoin will surpass Bitcoin in market cap. However, there are thousands of coins/tokens/ico’s out there and most of them will fail. Don’t just randomly invest in new ico’s expecting them to be the next big thing. Do a lot of research into these coins befor putting you hard-earned money into them because you could lose it. |

you have the good point on investing in different ICOS but you have to read their whitepaper and look also the possibility of those scammed. I don't think other coins beat bitcoin in the future 'coz bitcoin is the original among all coins and more valuable, all we need is to help bitcoin to grow in order not to replace it by other coins. |

To beats the mighty Bitcoin, you needs:
1. World famous x coin than Bitcoin,
2. Decentralize networks,
3. Fast transaction compared to current state of Bitcoin,
4. Lowest fee as possible,
5. Fast adoption,
6. Anonymous,
7. Limited amounts of coins available, to mimic the scarcity.

We can not say but according to the current market scenario. I don't see any coin has potential to beat bitcoin in near future but we can not predict the future and we should be concerned only for the present not for the future and investing in ICOs can be a good idea but do not expect too much from ICOs everything takes time to become strong/demanding in the market.

Perhaps you mean the investing in different COINS? ICO is a something like IPO, but the company sells their tokens (usually ERC20 on Ethereum), not their shares. |

No one knows. That's the thing with the markets. Whatever is the demand and supply at that time will determine what's next.
Ethereum tried to beat bitcoin it didn't work. Ripple tried to do the same it didn't work. Literally any coin that comes next to bitcoin's market cap gets thrown down by some whale or another.
