Copper Member - Enable Avatars for Junior and Members.

Since the Copper Membership is only useful for a Newbie, the title must be removed from them once they reached Junior Membership.
But No, members like that special feeling whenever they see that "Copper Member" tag on their names.
Some Seniors and Legendary had actually bought the title just for fun. So here's a proposal:
Make some adjustments to the Copper Member's account restrictions for Junior to Members to enable Avatars.
Some Reasons:

• It's easier for anyone to be well known with an avatar.
  
• Post are more likely to be noticed if a user have an avatar.
• With the merit system, members who are dying to show their personal avatars will have to wait a little bit longer to reach the rank that enables them to upload it.
• Lastly, Junior Members and Members aren't required to wear an avatar in SigCampaigs. So, keep those "it will be used for campaigns" replies away please.

I think that the reason why most people wish to raise rank is because it is due to the participation qualification of some coins, so I think that "Copper Member" itself has almost no value.
"Copper Member" can not qualify for participation,like "Newbie" and "Jr.Member".

I think that it would be better to get "Merit" by donation.

The signatures will still be the same boring no-color texts and links, managers wont grant higher reward for an avatar worn by a junior or member.
It's up to them if they can request a higher bounty from the campaign manager.

Yes, as I said in the 1st line of the OP. Admins can take that as a suggestion too: "remove the title after ranking up to Jr".

I do not think this is a good solution. Because the avatar is also representative of the bonus campaign and it will reward you for participation. If you open a free avatar, the bounty program will no longer reward that job. We need active people on the forum not only to earn bonuses but also because actively contribute to the forum anymore.
In my opinion, the management should specify how to increase the level. Because new entrants can not have deep knowledge, they are easily discouraged.

Copper Membership is just meant to be a bare bones status that is essentially just a way to automatically white-list yourself and give you some of the privileges that have been taken away from Newbies. I would only support avatars being enabled in any additional higher ranks such as Silver or Gold as I have suggested previously.

And this could also be a problem with those trying to impostor older accounts. Create an account with a similar username, change your avatar to theirs and try your luck. With the cheapness of the Copper rank it might be worth a shot and that's why I would only support it for a higher/more expensive rank.

Silver Member gets you everything a Full Member has and Gold everything a Hero does (with possibly additional benefits). I'd definitely pay for a gold right now if I could go straight to Hero without the merit requirements. Probably anything up to $1k. The benefits for sig campaigns alone would be worth it.

But in fact there are still many people who think cooper member is an extraordinary thing, even they assume that the cooper member has a good reputation and trust. Though not necessarily appropriate, need more socialization that mentions that the cooper member is not an account that has a special thing. This is important because at this time a lot of projects done by cooper member account, sooner or later we must continue to ensure that the cooper member is not a reference about the quality of an account.

I think many who could afford it would. I wouldn't suggest anything higher than 1k though, but even $500 would price a lot of people out of having numerous accounts. My suggestion before theymos implemented the merit system was to remove all signatures and the only way to get one is to pay for it because it's probably the only way to stop people creating dozens of accounts. People are still cheating it by merit trading between groups or their alt accounts and this is only going to get more prevalent as time goes by and people only do this or create so many accounts because it's free to do so. Making people pay a fairly hefty sum kinda puts a stop to it.

No. They paid for it, they owned it. Copper Member is a paid membership with special tag and no expiry date.

It doesn't need to circumvent the purpose of merit, it can actually do the job of merit, just much faster.

There could be a vetting service, where a members post quality and quantity are analysed and if at an acceptable level, they can then apply for a silver or gold membership which will unlock additional features. I think the price of this should be prohibitive to prevent it from being abused for signature spammers, e.g. $200 for Silver membership (equivalent to Full member) and $500 for Gold membership (equivalent to Hero member).

This concludes that enabling avatar for copper members will complicate the current "bounty reward system" and signature campaigns.
Currently, it's not an option even for cosmetic reasons.

Price will ultimately determine where most account buyers would go.  The forum would basically be competing with the farmers.  If the farmers offer better pricing than the forum enough people will still buy accounts that way.

My original suggestion was to remove signatures all together and the only way to get one was to buy the membership. That would have killed farming almost 100% because it's impossible to get a signature any other way. Farmers wouldn't really be able to sustain the market even as it is. It's already incredibly time consuming to farm accounts and has to be done so over a long time (1.4 years or whatever for a Hero) and because of the merit system it probably isn't going to be worth doing en mass. Now people will probably be forced just to having the one or two accounts to concentrate with. Buying an account is also still a very shady market and one where you're likely to get scammed. Most of the people selling accounts are either straight up scammers or are selling hacked accounts and if nobody is going to really escrow them that increases your chances of being scammed or the deal going bad. I'm sure the vast majority of people would just rather create their own legit account with a name of their choice and then purchase a donator rank rather than just buy one off the black market to save a few dollars *and risk getting scammed).
