Hi, need to get a power cable for the avalon controller since it doesn't come with one.


Also, can this unit run off of USB from a power strip or will it need more than 3-4 Amps? I have read it needs a 5v cord, appreciate recommendations.

Use at least 2.4 Amps 5 VDC USB wall wart with the AvalonMiner Controller. You need to have a Micro USB connector in the controller end to connect the wall wart to the AvalonMiner Controller.

Or Google "Raspberry Pi power supply" and take your pick.

Mined for a living since 2017.  Dabbled for years before that.
Linux admin since 0.96 kernel and Slackware distributions on (4) floppies...
