WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN?

If that happens, we better hope that we already cashed out or have gotten all of the money we have on the internet or all of the Cryptocurrency we have is controlled only by us or the users that can access it. The government is always scared to be put out of place and the governors that govern places that is knowledgeable with Cryptocurrencies will be the ones most affected by it.

I can't think to the point of the governments gaining total control over Bitcoin. They can only set some regulations for its transactions especially when integrated with the traditional banking systems. Anyway, if that happens, we will be left with no option than to comply and submit to the tax imposition in order to save the future Bitcoin has for all humanity.

Government can either ban or regulate bitcoin. But if government choose to ban btc, it would be at the government's disadvantage while if btc is regulated, government would gain revenue. That is why those who banned btc must reconsider their decision because cryptocurrencies are here to stay and became already part of the  financial world. Its technology has been  continuously developing and people are beginning to embrace digital currencies as addition to fiat currencies.

It would be more favorable to the government if they wins over bitcoin. The government will have the control over it according to their plans and strategy. They also put restrictions and impose some rules in their favor and for the benefits of the users/investors as well.

The government wants to control cryptocurrency all the time. But they fear that its development will be beyond their reach. And they think it will be interrupted for the development of their country's economy. Some governments want to create their own cryptocurrency. I think if the government wins by bitcoin then it will be good for all of us. Bitcoin usage will increase, so its price increases.

First you need to understand what can be called a government victory over bitcoin! I think that the main task of the government is to make anonymous transactions cease to be anonymous, in my opinion this is the most important point. The government can not win bitcoin until people didn't use it, we have to use crypto as crypto so there is no tax for it and no need to worry about it.

I can not imagine such an option. now the Government is at a dead end. They are forced to continue inflation, so as not to deceive the expectations of society - at bitcoin, there are no barriers. In a sense, paper money has ceased to be a currency. Moreover, the theory asserts that hyperbitcoidization will occur faster than hyperinflation, but it does not destabilize the economy as much as state measures.

For me as long as they would not ban bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, everything will be good. They have to consider that it would be the advantage of their government if they will regulate it. On the other hand, if they ban it, then unfortunately we cannot do anything about that (like what happened in other countries) except if we are going to migrate with other country who doesn't ban bitcoin.

It Kills them Every time when Bitcoin strikes again and they loose many investor in bank because the economy and banks depends on how many investor do invest on such banks they cant get a commission and like you said its a dead end.

They will ban or try to apply regulatory actions on crypto currencies. They won't prefer to ban them because they have a future but they will want to control them.

There is no way the government would be able to overcome all users of the bitcoin and win but I do see some kind of regulations coming in some countries or even having the bitcoin banned in other countries.

If governments win over bitcoin, the profits will go into the pockets of the government and it gets used same as the traditional currency. Further people start thinking that there is no use of bitcoin which will gradually decline the usage and the same will affect the growth in a combined manner. In reality such scenario will not exist.

I don't see this as  win / lose scenario as such it is a change in the perception of the old money system to an acceptance of cryptocurrency as a viable way forward. The first change was to accept Bitcoin as bonafide money instead of ignoring it, the second stage is to legislate for the use of and taxation, this is where we are at the moment gradually moving through country to country.

Be ready and aware that 2018 is the year of regulatory reckoning. Countries around the world are trying to determine how they are going to treat cryptocurrencies. Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) has halted several ICOs and hinted at the need for greater crypto regulation.

I am into cryptocurrency because of freedom, I can't deny to myself that I have worries regarding this issue. And as an investor, I really have no choice but to stay with crypto once the governments around the world have control to cryptocurrencies (if that became possible).

So as much as we can, also invest with physical properties with what you've earned. For we don't know what will happen next with our money in the digital world.

Government cannot stop this crypto world that lots of people used. They can't stop the network or the virtuality of the people for this will help them. Government must be thankful than putting the crypto in this kind of situation for this will help the country to make the economic better and the good thing is the only the Government has the power in appreciating those for lot of Government are corrupt and not sharing the money in the poor or to those people who woek for it. Crypto must not vanish for this is a big help to people. Hoping that Government will sew the importance of crypto even not today but hope in the near future.
