The developer of Proton/Higgs has stopped communicating and has not provided any updates despite logging into the discord channel and seeing investors asking questions and requesting updates. Something as simple as, "I'm busy, but I haven't abandoned the project" would suffice, but the dev has not even taken the time to make even the most basic reassurance to investors. The moderators on the Higgs/Proton discord channel have not been in touch with the developer and are also unable to provide information. Although we cannot confirm with 100% certainty that the developer has abandoned the project, we are coming together as a community to save the coin from the developer's neglect.

Please join us in this discord as we plan a sustainable course for this coin. We know that many people have invested in this project, and our goal is to do right by the investors and help this coin reach its potential. In order to save the coin, we will need commitment from 51% of masternode holders. Within the discord posted here, there are pinned links to a survey to collect commitments from masternode holders so that we can achieve a voting majority and continue to move forward with the project.

This is a work in progress driven by the community of Proton/Higgs holders. As such, please be understanding if information is not yet complete; nonetheless there is a core community that is committed to seeing this coin and/or an evolution of Higgs/Proton succeed.

Our first priority is to gain governance of the coin. Concurrently, we will be forming a development team with vested interest in the success of the project to push forward with refining existing features and adding new features. We are open to community input and support. We understand that the real value of a coins comes from use cases and widespread acceptance. As such, we will be working to distinguish this project from the many cut and paste projects with unrealistic goals designed to simply trap uninformed investors and users.

A roadmap and timeline will be coming soon, but for now, the best thing Higgs/Proton holders can do is join the discord link above and begin the process of rebuilding this coin.

Unfortunately, in the current market, there will be more cases like this, a lot of projects won't survive, because of there simply no interest on that kind of projects. Still new clones of PIVX or Bitcoin or whatever popping up, but they are not going to survive. Today it's not enough to get the team, the project needs investments.
