At times like this, it would be better to invest after the ICO. Most of the ICOs are failing due to the continuous market downtrend which have started early this year. It influences the outcome and results of the crowdsale which is usually negative this year. On the other hand, an investor would already have an assumption if a crypto would be profitable or not to invest once it is already listed.

If you're a wise person it"s better to buy at least a month after. A risky person would buy during the ICO to get the opportunity to get a lot of coins for cheap, compared to what it could be.
I don't like ICOs but I would prefer to save my time and money. At least watch out the project to see how it's performing, or if there isn't any shady team behind. And only then will start to think twice about investing or not.

I prefer take coins through buying it on the market. There are a lot of scam projects that just collect money with nothing at the end. From the other side of view it is possible to learn ICO project scrupulously but it need time of course.

There are a lot of good ICO during the stage when we are buying as we think it will give profit but this market is a big
hindrance and it failed to achieve a good value, we usually look at the value in order to call it a good ICO but we will never see it now.
