I think Bitcoin is helpful to the economy because it helps the people, may they be employed or unemployed. Well you know besides everything else I do think that the reason Bitcoins is helpful to the economy is because it provides a stable income system.
It gives many people out there a job !
And that's really something else...
Because government itself is struggling to provide jobs to everyone and Bitcoins is doing that thus offcourse it's... excellent for the economy !

Indeed, the reason why it help us is it's price especially those who want to buy and bought bitcoin at it's lowest price then hold until price goes up. Bitcoin is a tool that help us improve our own economy it even help us to have income by doing bounty campaigns out there.

It is certainly helpful to the economy in following ways:

1) Inspiring young individuals for innovations: Most important benefit in my opinion is that the success of a technology like bitcoins encourages a lot of young people to start thinking on the same lines. you can say bitcoin gives jobs to some people, which of course can improve the economy. for example the bounty hunters get paid for a number of projects they do, but not everyone can do it other than in need of knowledge about it, and also tools to do it like a computer or laptop.
