Could finally put to bed the whole "Dragonmint is a scam" debate... wonder if I could use Augur to bet on it 😉

Not until we see a good video review  Roll Eyes

Hi, we've received many at our Colo (minery.tech) and at Luxor (mining.luxor.tech) we have plenty of hashrate from B29s. Can confirm they are not a scam!

I got am email from DHL that my b29 has been shipped.  My issue is where do I find a pool to mine decred?  More specifically I have setup D3s, and S9s but that was following specific directions for asics to mine on asic pools.   Is there am asic pool out there for decred?

You can go to Luxor pool. What was your order number? I'm number 6600 and dieing to know when mine will be shipped!

Yes I can see alot of unboxing pics and videos and we can say that they are as real as it gets.... one thing I do not understand is why they adopted such a bad marketing strategy that made people believe that they are a scam...

For DCR Pool you can try https://dcr.suprnova.cc/

it is dhl express

so  go to dhl  and sign up for notifications as the item is expensive you may need to pay some duty on it.

should be under 1 week

After testing a few pools, I like coinmine the most.

My setup for the 6 B29's -- not the cleanest i've had, but it works!

On another note, I hit 6 blocks already. Should of been solo mining with that luck Smiley

Damn its got a real nice GUI and has some cool settings. I really like it will auto-tune out of the box but is there any settings for manually overclocking? I wonder if we can do some tweaking from command-line like putty.

Unfortunately not. You can't manually tune it at all. During calibration it appears to do 3 or 4 rounds of 10-12 minute peak testing, and it redirects to CK's pool during this.

1 of my units is at 2.31, another is at 2.33, the other 4 are 2.36

The on pool hashrate seems to be around spec, so there's some loss between GUI and actual pool hashrate. Perhaps this will be hammered out in a future update.

Sure, try Luxor you won't regret it!

Here is a setup guide:

Looks like luxor is reducing their fees to 1% for the next little bit (https://twitter.com/LuxorTechTeam/status/989474144239652865) - I'm going to give them a shot.

Where is this for sale for 6600? Halong direct website only has one miner for sale that I can see and it is not the decred miner.

Weird, I wonder why that is... I got the email on the 27th and the link they gave was...
https://halongmining.com/shop/dragonmint-b29-blake256-miner/

I put it in my cart just to see total but wasn’t ready to pull the trigger for the price... They had the T1, B52,  and B29 all listed in the shop , but only the B29 showing in stock.

Now they only show the T2 bitcoin miner that’s not for sale yet, weird right?

I can attest to this. I saw it there with the price drop the other day. Coincidentally, it was made available after the batch 1 of Innosilicon's D9 miners were sold out. I have a D9 in route so I'm kinda glad to see these are no longer listed by Halong, at the moment anyway.

D9 = B29

Can you give an update on whether or not you still like coinmine the best after mining with them almost a month?

I was leaning towards coinmine over Luxor pool due to the higher fees but I read a comment that Coinmine wasn't computing their hashing power correctly or their coin payout wasn't adding up.

Curious to learn any other insight (pros/cons) you can provide from the mining pools you've tried and why you like Coinmine the most. Thanks in advance!!

Halong has put the T1 (BTC) back up on the site, and the T2 (BTC) showing as well (both Unavailable / Join Waitlist) , but still no sign of the B52 (sia) or B29 (decred)... hmm

As many have pointed out , INNOSILICON D9 (decred) and S11 (sia) (same specs as Halong, possible partners?) are showing stock avail to order now ...
