I agree with this I'm so addicted in downloading games and any other useful apps in playstore but some requires a payment that it is needed to pay through credit cards which is I don't have right now. I am hoping they will consider to open an opportunity to crypto users to pay in btc or any other cryptocurrencies. I guess it would be very helpful too for them since they can get more customers by utilizing crypto as an alternate mode of payment in order to download their apps and it is like some sort of promotion too since crypto is gaining more popularity each day.

This will happen in the near future, because many people are now starting on cryptocurrency and get addicted in trading and mining and some of them are focusing now on how to get income with crypto.
If playstore/appstore and games will accept payment with crypto currency it will benefit them for a long time because many of their users/players in cryptoworld can now afford to pay for them.

imagine that the playstore and appstore use cryptocurrency for purchase app. the price of cryptocurrency will increase because the demands of their store. |

If bitcoin can be more stable in volatility then it might open up for being used for casual payment method, but since the volatility of the instrument that makes bitcoin more like an asset than currency nowadays. For example of this, if i can buy 10 games with 0,5 btc today, then it also possible in a few days later i could buy much more or much less game with that sums of btc. The high volatility in short timefame that make people cautious about using bitcoin as future payment. I think there are lots of other altcoins that make project about using coin to purchase ingame item and collaborate with them but i dont think its possible to collaborate with bigger scale corporation such as Apple or Google yet.
thats the essence why they will accept bitcoin as payments they will gamble to the price of crypto even the value is volatile,your only concern about favoring the buyers.but what about in time of dip,dont you think the app provider is not at risk?lets give the benefits on both parties.whats important here is what can we both get with thos action..for. Me IM FAVOR OF THIS ONE |

If those software stores can switch on to digital currencies payment it will go a long way to increase they market sale and also lessening the stress customers go through to pay for they software's. Bitcoin especially will help them as a payment method.

Its really a good idea and would even bring more awareness to the crypto industry but there are two issues that of concern in this 1. A lot of those applications are open source i.e what can be downloaded for free especially on PlayStore which if monetized, a lot of people wont be interested in whatever is being said to achieve and also for every app that is being paid for, there is a free version of it only difference is the ads part which could be annoying. 2. PlayStore and AppStore are both platforms that is being managed by companies Google and Apple. What is the attitude of these two companies to bitcoin as a currency. To the best of my knowledge, if they are not overtly critical of bitcoin, they are also not making their statement as an outright support for bitcoin which makes it difficult but the moment these companies accept, all their platforms will be activated to accept crypto. |

Wow, nice idea! I think that it is possible to have the bitcoin payment method in AppStore and PlayStore. But I think that they should start in AppStore, since the users are more likely to but the apps instead of PlayStore wherein you can get the apps from 3rd party applications.

Instead of accepting bitcoin or another crypto they would create their own coin, and i think apple already has apple pay so this is not necessary. I heard rumors that Google will collaborate with bitcoin especially as payment method but until now it has not been realized.
Let see maybe in many years later this could be happen.

Appcoins proposed a solution through aptoide. I think they got a very interesting and promising market, the apps market could really use all the benefits that the blockchain provides, not trying to shill you anything but appc are adressing this matter directly

Well this depends on the company owners to implement the payment method or not. Playstore is owned by google and hence google will require to implement the payment mode on playstore so that users could get cryptocurrencies as a payment. Similarly Appstore is owned by Apple, hence Apple will require to implement the crypto payment mode too. Although there are in app purchases which can be used for crypto payment mode through which users could get cryptocurrencies but then the app should be designed in a way to accept crypto payments.

Google and Apple have their own payment systems. Apple Pay Cash service is just one reason why they will not allow Bitcoin as a payment option. This will be in direct competition with their own payment system. A much better way to get Bitcoin on there, will be for us to create games that use Bitcoin as a in-game currency.  The Lightning Network will make this more viable in the future, because micro payments will be faster and cheaper.  |

Do you mean applications related to crypto-currencies? Yes, now there are many projects that will be implemented in the future, related to mobile applications. This is convenient, and each application has its own advantages. |

i've ever bought a game currency with bitcoin (one of web based game), but if you convert it to dollars, the price is much higher than you pay it with dollars, i don't know why, i think because of the fees

It’s only a matter of time. It just doesn’t make sense if we still have to buy bitcoin wallets using credit cards in the App Store or Play Store in the Age of Cryptocurrency.

Should be. But who will be the one who can take that kind of risk. This is google play is on the line and I dont think it will be wise for them to make it as a means of payment for now, the USD will still be the first option. With games being created, it would be lovely to see if there will be one MMO that will take it to the next level of gaming using crypto as a means of payment or could also be the main currency in game. |

A very good point! Yes, I do believe that cryptocurrency payment on these platforms should be included. This is not just beneficial to us the consumers but will be also very beneficial to them. Changes will be a lot but it will be a very good investment to them. App developers will also benefit from these updates. |
