Is product important for a project?

Product is not that important as 99 times out of 100 people do not do proper research. They mostly follow hypes: see "what coin to buy" questions on this forum.

That does not mean we will say product is not important. Those who want to follow hype will follow hype which eventually is not always sustainable and who wants to be bag holding a shit coin and gambling with their funds? The thing that makes product relevant is that with hype or not, you know you are cut out for the long term and with the product, there would always be lot of support for the coin, which is where the essence of product is very important.

IS what can differentiate a good project from a good scam. People will always be eager to invest when they can get hands on whatever they are putting their money to. Everything can look nice on a paper but execution is fundamental to steam a project.

Totally agree! This is always the root cause, according to which the projects go out, no one will write "collect money for us, we will buy mining farms"?

Having a good working product is definitely important, for one it brings more trust towards the project itself. Members will feel more comfortable with investing in a project that has an physical product. If a working product is not available, then a prototype or a demo is needed that will show how the actual product will work.

I think so, in every business venture the product is always the key to a sale. In crypto projects it may be in a form
of a service or anything but the main thing is that you need to have one in order to get into the market. The company
or business is only as good, as solid and as important as the product and service it delivers. That is the primary basis

One of the things I consider in a project is the product. if an ICO  doesn't have a project and they want to rise money, it's a no for me, I won't invest, thet need to have at-least MVP

Exactly, one of the key success of an ICO can be seen from the readiness of the product.
