Are you using Bitcoin-Qt?

Anyways, it probably isn't anything to work about, since you can always generate more addresses.

Sounds like a program error to me, backup your wallet.dat file and reinstall your wallet program.

I've never heard of this happening.

So you're saying that you've created multiple addresses under the "Receive" section, and that none of those addresses show up any longer when you look in the "Receive" section?

I had that happen during a client update. It was resolved through a -rescan.

Send the balance into the other bitcoin address, or backup your wallet,
and then try to reinstall your software client?

Does it help?

Did you try reinstalling the program? You can always send all your Bitcoin to me first in-case you lost it. Tongue
