I did a Brainwallet TX and instead of .0001 fee it did a 2.2 BTC fee!

The block was mined by BTC Guild..

Am I screwed? Sad

Not really much to say other than:

used brainwallet.org for a transaction. Apparently it failed to generate the second output back to the sending address in the JSON transaction, thus it was all included as a fee. I have no fucking clue how to replicate the bug.

Well damn. Let this be an expensive lesson, check the JSON transaction is correct before sending. Son of a bitch.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

You could email the pool explaining your issue, and possibly signing the message with the address which sent the fee, but they are not obligated to return it to you so it's really up to them  Undecided Good luck!

I can't see that happening. BTC Guild pays the tx fees to the miners, so they don't have the 2.2 BTC anymore.

Could you post a link to the tx?
