Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Suggestion: Jump to Zerocurrency algo (Equihash 192/7)

More fast transaction speed, 25% less power consumption.

If this is true this seems a good and easy answer.

That ZERO equihash is CPU-demanding. If you mine with 1 GPU , then Celeron CPU can go 60% usage, but with 2-3 GPU it is 99% ...
Also, you need to have 8gb ram in your rig and for every card it is required to have 8gb of swap file.
Furthermore, with NVidia, you need to have 8gb card in order to mine. AMD can do with 4gb, but not all cards.
On Linux, everything works much better, but there you have problems with overclocking (no adequate easy-to-use software for OC).

It is far from good solution...  Undecided

I'll stray from btcz ethos and do whatever ZEC does which is probably embrace ASIC.

Great point.. I've mined that algo and didnt get too far, even with my nice mining rigs.  Grin

I think all equihash coin devs are on this now. A solution or consensus will form. I hope lol

It would be best for BTCZ to use some unique algo or at least some algo that doesn't use any of big coins. That way, we would be sure that no one will build ASIC just for BTCZ, since it is still small coin.

Does anybody know why the explorer is not showing when the asic farms connect ? the nethash should be more like 25 m sols when they connect. Sometimes just from 1 adress it goes to 16-17 m sols but the explorer never shows a difference ? they are doing it for 2 weeks now every single day on different pools... cycling through pools every hour Huh

Edit: also to add its not just Btcz , they are doing it on other coins also and the explorer doesnt seem to change the nethash accordingly

ASICS are clearly already mining.
As was said above they drop into a pool for about 15mins, clear it up and bugger off.
This was seen with the original bitmain hardware so is no surprise.

From @faneatiku @telegram:

Quote
For those who think this coin is dead, i really appreciate your opinion, since you are not haters and you are just sharing your thoughts. I advice you guys to stick around and support btcz until the end of the year. Behind the scenes people are developing nice features and are working hard to get btcz up. Don’t be mad on developers for not sharing what they are doing, most of the projects that are developed in silence to avoid people that look for a fast profit and for a pump and dump scheme. We realley appreciate the trust received from real btcz believers. Wait until the end of the year. Projects that surround BTCZ are aiming to place this coin in the top. And this are the details i have, and you should know that teams are decentralized, so i don’t know everything is happening. Thank you all for the support and good luck on contributing with more than just ideas, we need people on all fields out there! Nobody left behind.

Btcz ❤️❤️❤️

Here's a good faq about the merits of abandoning ASIC resistance.  Food for thought.  Would like to hear what others in the community think.

Have some bags ready if you are still chewing gum when the ascis gets on.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.
