I've added the equihash 144,5 (zhash) port to suprnova as well, it will be 6586 for GPU and 6587 for CPU after block 160,000. The old ports will then be shut

Thank you!
Could you make back pool fee with donation to community rather then zero fee?
Our community could only improve projects by donations.
0.5-0.5% is fine.

This is a good idea!
0.5% fee for the Suprnova pool and 0.5% fee as donation for the BitcoinZ community.

--------------------------
BitcoinZ: ASIC resistant coin with unique ZHash algorithm

I'm not a fan of forced fees, if you would like to donate, you can just do so freely by yourself.

Would you be able to make the default with 0.5% donation and give miners the option to remove the fee by adding the - no fee option or similar in their batch files?

As the largest and most prestigious pool, you attract the most miners and this project will do so much better if you would help!

Question, I've been using MyBitcoinZ wallet all along. Is it best to move all my coins out of that wallet to an exchange, like stocks exchange etc., before the fork?

I don't see a new wallet release yet for MybitconZ type.

Also, somewhere I saw some addnodes for the new 1.2.1 wallet release. I'm updating it now but with 2 connections  Grin

The new BitcoinZ Swing Wallet works perfectly on Windows!
It is available here: https://github.com/btcz/bitcoinz-wallet/releases/tag/v1.2.1
See the instructions and run the reindex.bat, wait until its finished (takes some time but is normal).

--------------------------
BitcoinZ: ZHash algorithm fork details: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zQvZsl4u8ZGn13ETnGeabcy4FC59mf-B/view

Cool, I got that wallet synced up, I will check out the reindex.bat  Wink

THX!

Interesting you are moving your coins to an exchange. I am doing the excat opposite. I am holding my coins on the Android wallet which should be fine during the fork with no action necessary. the android wallet has been rock solid for me since the first day.

Dear members!
We have waited for so long for Jalapeno Game payment getaway platform.
They sweared it will be active at this June.
Still no sign of that platform, no insight image.
Please vote about it!
(If Cancel win, money returns back to BitcoinZ main fund, but you are able to ask back your donation.)

Dear Equipool Team,

Are you ready for the ZHash algo fork?
If yes, please write us how to set the parameters in the ZHasher v1.2.1 (Nvidia): https://github.com/btcz/zhasher/releases

zhasher.exe -cd 0 1 2 3 4 5 -l mine-btcz-na.equipool.1ds.us:49951 -u YOURBTCZWALLET.RIGNAME
testnet port

What is the real port for the non testnet? For mining in Europe can we use "mine-btcz-euro.equipool.1ds.us" as usual?

Thank you for your answer!

Any instruction how to set up Zhasher's mining address; pool etc...
Look at the "readme.txt" in your ZHash directory : you have the instructions example for CPU and GPU mining.
But nothing will work before block 160.000 : be patient.

These are the GitHub examples (from the source) :

Quote
Example to run benchmark on your CPU:

    zhasher -b

Example to mine on your CPU with your own BTCZ address and worker1 on Equipool USA server:

    zhasher -l mine.equipool.1ds.us:50063 -u YOUR_BTCZ_ADDRESS_HERE.worker1

Example to mine on your CPU with your own BTCZ address and worker1 on EU server, using 6 threads:

    zhasher -l mine.equipool.1ds.us:50063 -u YOUR_BTCZ_ADDRESS_HERE.worker1 -t 6

Note: if you have a 4-core CPU with hyper threading enabled (total 8 threads) it is best to run with only 6 threads (experimental benchmarks shows that best results are achieved with 75% threads utilized)

Example to mine on your CPU as well on your CUDA GPUs with your own BTCZ address and worker1 on EU server, using 6 CPU threads and 2 CUDA GPUs:

    zhasher -l mine.equipool.1ds.us:50063 -u YOUR_BTCZ_ADDRESS_HERE.worker1 -t 6 -cv 1 -cd 0 1

Bitcoin + privacy respect = BitcoinZ (topic BitcoinZ)
The only decentralized crypto that complements Bitcoin on privacy.

Thank you! I am super excited about being able to mine with CPU.

Is there a way to schedule the miner to start say at 7pm and stop at 7am (and all day on weekends)? I want to install it on my work laptop and have it mine while I am away and stop during the day. So this will automate the process.

Thanks!

This means you need to wait a little longer just and relax in anticipation. I'm curious what expectations people who participate in this project?
