Ferrum Network is a DAG-based interoperability network that can connect to any blockchain and works natively with fiat currencies. Our product line running on top of the network includes a fiat gateway for emerging markets (Kudi Exchange (https://kudi.exchange/)) and a non-custodial wallet (UniFyre Wallet (http://unifyre.io/)) for risk-free OTC transactions. Our network is powered by the FRM token, which is spent and burned with each transaction.

From my first glance, Ferrum is a solid project although I don't know much about people's perception on cryptocurrency in Africa. However, why don't you reveal some result information of the completed private sales?

From my first glance, Ferrum is a solid project although I don't know much about people's perception on cryptocurrency in Africa. However, why don't you reveal some result information of the completed private sales?

In Africa, specifically Nigeria, is the 7th largest country to conduct Bitcoin transactions. Kudi Exchange is an operational business in Nigeria and will be expanded throughout the whole Africa and beyond. It was recently featured on BBC World News "In Africa" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBnJ7nIkBP4.

In regards to the private sale, we're on the cusp of revealing all information about the numbers and figures, should be available later this week.

Every day we are asked the question whether we will conduct an initial exchange offering (IEO), ICO, IDO or whatever else exists out there…

It’s finally time to give you the answer you deserve: Ferrum will conduct an initial utility token offering (ICO) with a quick exchange listing afterwards. Ferrum will NOT conduct an IEO. There are a number of reasons we opted against an IEO, but they fundamentally come down to two things we often talk about — the community, and our long term vision.

Update:

On 6/28, after the ICO was formally announced, we had an overwhelming response for whitelisting. About 800-900 people signed up within the brief 3 hour period after the ann. There were many more who signed up after the deadline and those whitelisters will not be taken into consideration.


We understand the anticipation for the Ferrum Network's ICO and we'll be revealing how we're going to be handling whitelisters once we announce the formal ICO date, set to occur very soon. We have one objective, to make the sale as fair as possible for the community, despite the micro-cap.

For those who've registered and received no confirmation email, this is completely normal. We have your registration, if you signed-up prior to our deadline. The whitelist was open from 5/16/2018 until 6/28/2019 (17:00GMT).

7/2 Update

Things really started to heat up in the month of June! For those who missed the big ICO announcement, and other major news, here’s a brief rundown of monthly our traction.

    

• Launched our new website with UniFyre Wallet waitlist
• Announced we are conducting an ICO not an IEO based on fairness to the community
• Closed the whitelist after massive support came flooding in
• Successfully completed the private sale in less than 10 days with huge demand
• Started our Asia Marketing Campaign, by hiring a full-time Chinese CM and opening Chinese Telegram and We Chat channels
• Continued to grow Kudi Exchange, which was featured on the BBC (watch BBC piece here), acquiring users daily based on our marketing /commercial, and started to earn revenue!
