Welcome to the bitcointalk forums. I've taken a look at. The quark coin, but I don't see anything special about it. Just another alt IMO

The Quarkcoin idea does sound a bit innovative. There are many algorithms used; not just one. This makes the coin a lot more secure, because the security relies on many algorithms.
