Be in the loop and be fully informed about crytpocurrency as soon as you can and don't get left behind.

Know what all the buzz is about as we are moving into the twilight of social media with cryptocurrency.

In just a few short years since the start of the Social Media hype, the digital phenomenon has garnered a lot of praise and criticism in almost equal amount. Social Media critics point to the many flaws in the system which undermine the fidelity of the information that is being shared.

Crypto-based social media is definitely the next phase of the this venture as we know data transfer has been high risk when using the current platforms of social media.

A crypto-based Social Media platform will be decentralized; there will be no central server and the entire platform will be run on a blockchain

This, therefore, returns control over the user-generated content from the hands of the platform administration, back to the originating user. The entire network will be responsible for monitoring and control, thereby making the platform truly democratic.

A crypto-based Social Media has the potential to offer a robust security framework that ensures the privacy of users.

These are just some of the potential improvements and benefits that can come as a result of the emergence of a crypto-powered Social Media 2.0.

So to some it all up, the one thing that has remained constant in this fast paced digital age, is that improvements, updates, betterment and advancements are never far away.

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

Check out steemit. It's a social media and it runs on the Ethereum network using steem tokens.
I agree that a decentralized social network would be beneficial.

Steemit is a great social media platform, It's more of a blogging platform. There's also a project called Akasha, also powered by Ethereum and Vitalik as actually an advisor for it, the beta is currently running (and it is a bit slow). I really like the idea of it - you should check it out.
