is it time for us to buy altcoin?
why every mid year altcoin is always cheap.

I think it’s because of the increase in total supply of the bitcoin etherum and bitcoin cash
I believe the price been down is an opportunity to own more bitcoins
And it is also a reflection of the amount of miners of bitcoin
We can relax and store in more bitcoin and altcoin and also more importantly hodl our tokens
Because steadily the prices of bitcoin will moon
And the prices of alt coin will follow too

I think the current dip is caused by two factors: 1. Binance API fail 2. MtGOX guy selling coins for 400M. But the marker seems stable around 9K and alts seems to get a slight recover. |

It caused by the bearish trend of crypto, the bearish trend was created by the bitcoin itself. And the bitcoin gets big dump by mtgox trustee worth about 35k bitcoin and 35k bitcoin cash. That's why the market was dying. This looks a good time at least you can buy altcoin with discount. But just try to watch the japan news. There is remaining amount of bitcoin worth 161k bitcoin again. But the court will try to manage it. |

It depends primarily on the price of bitcoin and sometimes ethereum too. People with huge popularities can also influence people regarding altcoins. The law of supply and demand can also affect altcoins' prices.

FUD? it aint a FUD is was really happened,read the official statement of binance they have called the attackers a hackers would that be a FUD? API failure was just an excuse because binance's repuation would be questionable that is why they blamed those bots ? do you really know what you are talking about? phishing is one type of a hacking technique for your information  |

The only reason is what happening to bitcoin. Whenever bitcoin price falls, altcoins prices fall too and altcoins price fall is usually bigger than bitcoin.
I've read opinions like the one you convey. However, I think it can not be 100% used as a benchmark of the increase and decrease in the price of altcoin. |

if I think that causes the decline in altcoin value is due to the effect of bitcoin. because if the bitcoin again down the automatic altcoin will also follow-down and it's often the same with altcoin.

I don't really understand why  )) Sometime Altcoin down because Bitcoin price pump but sometime although Bitcoin price dump but altcoin also dump as well. LOL. It's really hard to know but I think all these dump is the result of bad news related to cryptocurrency like Binance exchange hacked few days ago, it also affected a lot to crypto price. But I think the main reason why altcoin price dump is still the whales |

There is no hack, it is a API bug, 31 binance accounts were hacked because of its owners' fault, and hacker used these accounts to control the price and make panic stuations. |

Lots of regulation battles on Bitcoin from several governments of late has made the coin famous in a negative way hence provoking lots of caution on its usage hence fall in price. fall in Price for BTC will definitely affect the price of altcoins, that's what is currently happening
