Nauticus has a new website & update on NTS token minting …Exciting news: now the ICO is over, Nauticus has a new home on the web at nauticus.exchange
Even better, the new site links through to the ‘Under Construction’ real life Nauticus Exchange.
During the ICO the developer team was working towards a demo release that would allow users to sample the ‘look and feel’ of the exchange but didn’t have a lot of functionality.
It became clear, however, that this was taking our devs away from the main game — getting the actual exchange up and running by August. So we scrapped the demo plan.
This is a sneak peek and we’ll let you know when it’s finished and ready for testing.
We’re also finalizing the Know Your Customer (KYC) identity verification process, which will be offered on the new site soon. We plan to reward a limited number of people to kick off the process — so stay tuned for some pretty cool announcements.
On the token creation front, it’s pretty clear that everyone who backed the project is desperate to find out the total supply figures — and we are too.
Unfortunately there will be a delay before we can finalize the NTS allocations and mint the tokens.
This was originally scheduled to be done by mid-week, but there have been some unavoidable hold ups working through the late glut of private sales and ongoing delays getting the final tallies from the third party bounty and airdop campaigns.
It turns out we should have allocated a lot more time for this process — it’s apparently a massive job for the campaign managers to verify and tally up the correct allocations for their armies of contributors.
We sincerely apologize for the delay. That said, there’s only one chance to get this right — once the NTS supply has been minted it can never be altered, so we need to check and double check every calculation to ensure everything is 100 percent.
